I’m Back

Zeke woke up inside the king's body.

"Holy shit, this is so fucking crazy!"

Zeke didn't feel any sort of discomfort while being in another man's body. It's almost like he was in this body his whole life.

"What the hell is going on? First I watch them live their lives and now I'm in their life?"

"Also does this mean I'm now in another world?"

Zeke was filled with questions. Questions no one can answer at the moment.

Just as Zeke was busy thinking about his next move.

A few words appeared in front of him.

[Enter System Space?]

"What the hell?" Zeke was even more confused. But since this was a world of cultivation, he just chose to accept any new things he might come across.

"Yes," Zeke said and then his surroundings changed. He was now inside the system space.

The place looked like it had no ground but he could still walk as if he was on solid ground. Everywhere else looked like outer space filled with countless stars.

All of a sudden multiple screens showed up in front of him. One screen showed an avatar of him with his stats on it.

Another screen had multiple squares on it, it seemed to be a storage. One screen had the word "Skills" on top and another screen had the word "Missions" and was currently empty.

Then another screen appeared. It was an introduction.

[Hello host! This system will help you fulfill any desires you might have. With the system, nothing is impossible. It will help you to the best of its abilities whether you wanna become the strongest or if you wanna go back to your old world, you decide!]

"Hmm, interesting. I'm beginning to like this. My previous life was boring and I did killing jobs as a form of entertainment. This world seems to have a lot of potential for me. I hope this doesn't disappoint me"

[The place you're in now is the system space. Here, there is no time. Time will continue once you leave this space. The host can also choose the background. I recommend for the host to use the reality background where the surroundings do not change and the world will simply freeze. Of course, you cannot change the world while in this state]

"Alright then, use the reality background. We'll see how useful this will be later on. Why else would you recommend it"

Zeke looked at his stats. He was currently a nascent soul realm expert at the peak of the 4th level. As the ruler of a kingdom, he had to have some strength.

As for his skills, he had some swordsmanship skills and the level was pretty high.

It was an Earth-grade sword technique called Green Lotus Killing Sword and was already considered a very rare technique in the area of the continent he's in.

"Woah, it's a divine grade. I don't know how high of a level it is compared to an Earth grade technique but I'm going to assume it must be really high" Zeke said.

Zeke looked at the corpses and thought for a bit. In the end, he decided to take the corpses and put them in the system storage. The corpses might be of use in the future.

"Alright, let's go!"

Zeke flew toward the direction of his kingdom. He didn't feel anything while flying, he felt like it was a natural thing to do.

Zeke flew for a long time before stopping to recover his energy. He simply sat on the branch of a huge tree. As he was sitting, Zeke had an idea.

Zeke entered the system space and tried recovering his energy; to his surprise, it worked! This is a huge discovery and had countless life-saving uses!"

Zeke stayed inside the space until he fully recovered his energy. Then he continued flying again.

He repeated this a few times for many hours until he finally left the kingdom he was in and entered a neutral ground. It was an ancient forest called Vermillion Forest.

The name came from an old legend. The legend says that a legendary Immortal realm vermillion bird was injured and died in this forest. They also say that the creature left behind its legacy. Therefore the forest was a popular location for people to explore.

Of course, the forest was full of danger. Other than the outer circle of the forest which was filled with relatively weak creatures, the inner and center of the forest was filled with demon beasts with strength as high as the Ascension realm which is 2 realms above the Nascent Soul realm.

Zeke flew straight towards the inner circle of the forest and quickly found creatures of the Nascent Soul realm. Since the mission didn't specify what level of the Nascent Soul, he chose beasts at the lowest level.

The first beast he found was an enormous silver ape. It was at least 30 meters tall when it stood straight. it was only Star the first level and didn't pose any threat at all. Zeke quickly threw a punch with 100 percent of his strength behind it and it died instantly before it could react.

Zeke who was already at the peak of the 4th level broke through and entered the next level.

As for the ring, he wore it anyways to hide the fact that he had the system storage.

The room inside the ring was enormous, he could fit an entire city. Heaven tier equipments were extremely rare. As far as he knew, the rankings from lowest to highest are;

Yellow -> Mortal -> Earth -> Sky -> Heaven -> Divine

Heaven tiers are close to impossible to have due to how rare they are. Most of the time, only the leaders of the top forces of this world has them.

As for divine equipment, Zeke does not know anything about them as the kingdom does have any.

"I should go educate myself once I get back"

Zeke flew around and sensed other Nascent Soul realm demon beasts. He would use his entire strength and destroyed all of them in a ailing or hit. He would recuperate inside the system every time he ran out of energy.

He finally killed enough to complete the mission.

Each of them gave him exp and it was enough to level up to the next level.

Zeke broke through twice as soon as he killed the last demon beast. He loved the feeling of getting stronger. It was very addicting.

He didn't forget to collect the corpses of all the demon beasts he killed.

Zeke found another tree and sat as he checked out his rewards. It was a sword and an armor set. The sword was black all around with some red runes on the blade of the sword. The sword seemed to be sentient as it floated around Zeke and rubbed its body on his hand.

As for the armor, it looked extremely majestic. it was all gold and had tiny red formations on it. With the armor on, his defense was extremely strong. Right now, only those in the next realm can break this armor.

Heaven-tier equipment we're very rare and there wasn't even any in his kingdom and now he had 2 on his. This made him very excited.

Zeke sat up and flew toward the direction of his kingdom. It has been less than a day since he took over the body. His family is probably worried sick.

He flew and rested many times until he finally saw the silhouette of the capital city of the Crowns kingdom. He landed near the gates and walked.

He decided to explore the place for a bit since, during the time he watched, it didn't show much of the city.

The place was busy and crowded. Many rich merchants were riding their carriages pulled by all sorts of demon beast slaves.

Many set up stalls on the busy streets and there were many cultivators but he couldn't sense any Nascent Soul experts.

Within the entire kingdom, only the generals as well as some high-level officials were in the Nascent Soul realm. Of course, there was also the possibility of hermits hiding anywhere in his country.

Zeke was walking around with a mask that he bought from a stall. Surprisingly, no one recognized him. Curious as he was, he decided to ask the owner of a nearby stall.

"Hey bro! do you know what the king looks like?"

The stall owner was a middle-aged man who an amiable look. He simply shook his head when he heard Zeke's question.

"Who knows what the king looks like? Back then, he always wore a mask even during ceremonies. Many people say that his face is very ugly hence the king always covered his face."

Zeke was quite surprised by his answer. That's because his body wasn't ugly at all. Right now he was in his mid 20's. He had beautiful white hair and golden eyes. His body was also filled with muscles. Almost as if a god has sculpted his body. He was too handsome!

Zeke smiled at the man and bought one of his products and left.

He was going back to the palace.

It didn't take long before he reached the palace. None of the guards stopped him as he simply used his aura to make them fall asleep as he walked passed them.

Soon, Zeke saw the mother and child together in his room.

"I'm back"
