Gorilla Brawl

At Yun Tian's words, the wolves scattered to surround the place. They knew Yun Tian could handle it or at least escape unharmed. Especially since the gorillas were not particularly fast.

Next Yun Tian climbed up a nearby tree and stealthily travelled closer to the gorillas. He wanted to take out the late stage one first.

Using Fleeting Steps he travelled closer without them noticing him at all.

He got to the very edge of the area they were in and stopped for a moment.

There were many gorillas and they were both on the ground and in the trees. Also, the late stage one was in the very middle resting on the ground. With how many there were, they were spread out through a decently large sized area.

If he wanted to get to the late stage one, even if they didn't hear him travelling he would probably be spotted by one of them.

He decided on a plan of action and climbed up even higher into the trees.

Although they were also resting in the trees, most of them were relatively low. The trees that made up the forest were extremely tall. So, if he was careful enough, he could try to go right above them all and get right above the late stage one.

He travelled with the wind using a mixture of Fleeting Steps and Crane Flight to go right above them all without them noticing.

He managed to get right above the late stage gorilla without them noticing at all and got ready to attack.

He first climbed downward so that he was close before he attacked. He stopped around twenty meters above his target. He didn't want to get too close or it might notice him.

It was currently resting on its side eating some fruit, but its laid back attitude soon changed.

Yun Tian readied himself to attack. He was going to go all out with this strike. He launched himself at the greatest speed he could use with Wolf's Lighting. His sword ready to deliver his strongest strike with both his killing intent and ferocity displayed to the maximum.

Even though he used his greatest speed from a sneak attack, a late stage demonic beast's instincts and reflexes could not be underestimated. It managed to turn and lift its arm in defence while Yun Tian was mid air coming at it.

Although it tried its best to keep its life, it just had too little time to put up a good enough defence against the greatest strike Yun Tian could perform.

Its arm managed to slow the strike some, but it still went right through and continued cutting off its head.

Yun Tian smashed into the ground at high speed causing dirt to fly everywhere and creating a large crater. The other gorillas were alarmed and started to make loud noises as they rushed towards the site where the late stage beast was.

All of them had no idea what happened except for a few of the mid stage gorillas, who happened to see a human figure come down from the trees towards their leader.

After they gathered around, the gorillas were finally able to see Yun Tian standing next to the dead body of the late stage gorilla. They were frightened, but at the same time their anger got the best of them. They started to hit their chests making loud noises like war drums to announce their anger.

Yun Tian was a little stunned by the noise, but he did not let it get to him.

Instead, he put away his sword and yelled, "Are you coming or what?"

At his provocation, the gorillas all charged at him together.

This was Yun Tian's plan from the get go. He wanted to take down the late stage specimen first and then have a brawl with the rest.

He only took down the late stage one first as he didn't know if he would be able to handle it along with rest, especially if he wasn't using his sword or movement techniques.

All of them were charging at him. Eight mid stage, six early stage, and around twenty wild beast realm ones. All of them completely enraged and having lost their rationality.

Seeing this, Yun Tian only smiled and got ready for what was to come. This battle would be more about what he could endure than anything else.

Even though they were mad, the gorillas weren't completely insane and made sure to come at him together.

Four of the mid stage ones attacked him together.

He swung his fist back at one and prepared to endure the others with his qi barriers and body.

His fist knocked back the first gorilla, but then the other three landed their attacks on him. Although they were not as strong as a late stage specimen there were three of them and they were still in the mid demonic beast stage.

He was knocked away and crashed into a tree. He was not stunned at all though and immediately threw himself back into the fight.

The weaker ones attacked him along with the stronger mid stage demonic beasts, but he made sure not to target them at all as he knew he would kill or severely injure them even with only one punch. He did not want the difficulty of the fight to lower at all by lowering their numbers and scaring them.

From the outside, it looked like a large group of gorillas wailing on a small human who somehow endured it all and even knocked away the large gorillas.

The attacks never stopped coming, but Yun Tian also never stopped. He used up a large amount of qi and his body was battered with attacks that he couldn't fully block with his qi barriers. His mind blurred and he could only think about swinging his fist with little technique at whatever hairy beast was around him no matter its strength.

He launched away the mid stage ones and hurt them somewhat, but now he was also swinging at the others.
