As soon as this message popped up, the dark knight stopped dead in its tracks. It felt that something wrong was happening. The dark knight raised its greatsword and jumped at the altar, intending to destroy the person above.

Suddenly, everything around him was enveloped by darkness. It was so dark that no light could pierce it. The dark knight suddenly fell on the ground, trembling as if he was in pain. Afterwards, it started disintegrating. With one last scream, it vanished.

"Hah! serves you right, you bastard!"

Ajax was interrupted by a sudden burst of pain. The pain of his arm being severed couldn't compare. Ajax gritted his teeth and bit his lip, blood dripping from it. Ajax convinced himself 

'Almost there!! I can't stop here, now that I've gotten this far'.

What felt like an eternity of pain and suffering finally ended as another system message popped up.

The system message flickered as if it was struggling to spell out the words written on it.

"What the hell is V..? Is this some kind of joke? " Ajax thought the system was playing with him. Ajax was about to just give up when the system message popped up again.

'Huh, it rebooted? This has never happened before. What is going on?'

Ajax froze, his breathing becoming faster by the minute and cold sweat soaked his back.

"ANCIENT?!"

Ajax was stunned, confused, and curious. There has never been an Ancient Grade Heritage before, at least not on earth. There were only Titans, Divine, Demonic, Beast, Incarnation, and elemental ranks of heritage.

Is ancient rare? Is the government hiding this information from us? but why?' Ajax's thoughts were put on hold when another message appeared.
