At this moment in the Vatican, they were facing a much larger issue than others. This was not just a problem concerning material or human lives but was also related to their faith.

As for the cause, it was due to the appearance of God. Logically, His arrival should have been good news for them, but what He said was not.

He mentioned that this was his first time coming to Earth so what the man in the past really was, everyone can probably understand.

While people were shaken, a bishop walked through the room, speaking as he went:

"Surely, you are all thinking about the one we worship, aren't you? God has stated that this is His first time here, and He has no reason to lie to us. From ancient times, the supreme being we have always worshiped has been Him, and that will never change. Even if that man wasn't Him, does it really matter?

First, a man who sacrifices his own life, seeking suffering only because he wants humanity to live a better life, is he not worthy of respect and veneration? Whether or not he is God, I will always respect him.

Second, I affirm that while God has never set foot on Earth, with His divine power, He surely knows what has transpired here. For a supreme being like Him, not opposing something means agreement. He won't frequently reveal Himself to meet us.

Given these two points, why should anyone be confused about their own faith? We worship God and respect that great man. There's no important issue here at all, it's merely a slight adjustment in doctrine.

But this is not a big deal because we will forever worship God as our supreme deity. As for that other man, it's will reasonable to change his identity to that of the greatest saint."

Hearing the explanation, the others also came to their senses. The man from the past was entirely deserving of the worship and respect of humanity.

However, it seems they haven't considered one issue: they've never bothered to ask if bacteria hold any disrespect or negative thoughts about them. When there's such a vast difference in the level of existence, there's fundamentally no qualification for a lower being to gain the attention of a higher one."

God's perspective was entirely reasonable, as the difference between the life level of an ordinary human and God was far greater than that between a bacterium and a human.

He had no reason to pay attention to such small and vastly inferior things, even though His power could easily allow Him to do so.

It's like how people play with dogs, cats, and cute animals - as friends. Why is that? Of course, it's because they're cute and loyal, but most importantly, the gap in the level of existence between them and us isn't too vast.

Has anyone ever taken a bacterium or a cell and called it their friend? But how long do ordinary bacteria live? You could say they die immediately after leaving the body.

Not to mention that they're so tiny, and humans can't see them through ordinary means. The fact that bacteria have a lifespan as brief as a blink of an eye is enough for people not to consider them as friends.

A similar case applies to God. The lifespan of humans passes quickly, no different from the lifespan of bacteria to humans.

Why should He care about something that will die in just a fleeting moment? Words are left unspoken, only just enough time to see, and there's hardly any shared experience. So what reason does God have to pay too much attention to humans?

Although Alex is currently an ordinary person, in a short time (hundreds years), he will become an immortal entity.

So, even though God's power far exceeds Alex's, at the very least, Alex meets the longevity requirement to capture God's attention.

As for ordinary people, to God, they are just numbers in normal circumstances. Like statistics, such as how many people live on this planet, the level of civilization, and how many years it has taken to develop.

After a short while, a new world record had been set. With 100% of the votes cast in record time, Eudes had become the next Pope.
