The start of the apocalypse

In a dark , cramped room a child six or seven years old laid on an old creaking bunker bed , eyes wide open staring a the ceiling , disbelief and astonishment shrouded those pure and beautiful gemstones .

wha - where , how ????? , I didn't I die just now , I'm sure that guy killed me ....so ...oh I get it , this must be an illusion before death ....heh even when dieing I still can't have a minute of peace , oh well not like I've ever had any peaceful times in my life .

_ten minutes later _

...ok , so I'm not dead . ' ouch ' this isn't a dream or illusion either ....aaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhahahahahahahahahaha ' whew ' hahaha , " wow 'sniff ..sniff ' hehe 'sniff ' god has finally taken pity on me huh? 'sniff' won't you look at that " I said aloud while sitting up , having calmed down alot I finally have time to have a good look at the place I'm in .

i-isnt this my house ?? . with that thought in mind a shove my hand under the pillow on the bed and grope around searching for something .

" aha !" found it , I thought while remove my hand from under the pillow hehe this really is my house.

upon opening his small white and tender hands a beautiful gem glisten in the dark , tempting one to look closer .

thank god it's still there , it would be bad if I lost the only thing I have left of my biological mother , thought not big or valuable in the eyes of others , it is my most precious treasure . I only came to realize it's worth

when I already lost it .

my mom stored all her years of cultivation and life-force within this tiny gem . " I can't believe I was stupid enough to give this away to that green tea bitch who wasn't even great-full , to go as far as smashing it .

well , I'm to blame for my stupidity , but rest-assured , the old stupid me is dead .....I raise my hand not sure how I should use this then as if being possesed I swallow it .

not even seconds later a feel my inside burning , twisting as if to ring my intestines dry , minutes later the pain doubled this time it's the feeling of my bones breaking and reconnecting , the excruciating pain only amplified as I tried to move my body and without realizing I pass out .

as I come back to my senses I realized it was already morning , it took a few minutes for me to register my situation if not for the horrible stench radiating from my body I would have probably stayed dazed for a while . "ew , disgusting " that smells worse than zombies .

ugh best to go take take a shower . few minutes into my bath I remember something of little importance , my abusive drug addict adopted parents died last night due to overdose " ha " seems I forgot due to the events that happened last night , heh I still can't believe I not only survived that , but also .... can't believe my mom was a demon .

I was pretty surprised at first but the I started weighing the pros and cons , their aren't many disadvantages other than I need blood to to recover if I'm ever suffer any serious injures , if it's not serious it'll heal in about a minute , don't get me wrong I'm not complaining it's just , I don't wanna drink any random person or animals blood , like what if they have some sort of disease .

the good part about it though is that all my mom's years of cultivation are now mine and her adding her life force triples her already high cultivation level , the down side is it'll take quite a while to adjust and gain complete control over it . some of my abilities that I've tested bout are really good like : space - my own dimension in their I am the ruler of everything and I can store any and everything inside or I can just create them inside the space well I can't create anything in there right now but buildings , trees , crops and the like are easy for me .

second , mutated -ice and fire - unlike the normal which determine the temperature based on the persons emotion I can adjust mine by just thinking about it.

third - shadow - I can basically do what ever I want with shadows and let me tell you , there are a lot of monsters lurking in the shadows waiting for their time to rise , I haven't tested out the others as that would be dangerous , not physically as my body has already been modified to be able to bear all the power contained in me so it's more although my appearance hasn't changed in the least bit i reel like I can jump from an aeroplane without a parachute and be fine .

after I finish my shower and test those abilities a little more i make my way to my ' parents ' room not paying attention to the cold stiff bodies on the bed , a drag a little box from under their bed , ironic how they fancy them selves inlove yet still hiding things from each other , upon opening the box I saw a stack of hundred dollar bills inside , makes me wonder if they really died because they over dosed or was killed , I mean where can such a poor family gat so much cash and why did they hide it so well too .

Not my problem anyway , I grab it and my adoption papers and head back to my 'room' , I took a bag and my two sets of worn out clothes stuff them inside with some daily nessesecities , then I head to the hall grab the home phone off the table using my shadow and make a call to the police , while disguising my voice another perk of being a demon .

{ ok little miss/sir , take a deep breath and tell me what happened don't worry the police is on their way to you right now , please stay on the phone do not hang up ok }

' sniff ' o-ok u-um ' sniff 'a-ah i-i w-w-woke up a-and w-went t-to m-m-m ' sniff ' moms r-room to w-wake them u-p b-but they w- weren't w-waking up s-so I -i jumped on them like always but t-they still didn't wake up so i-i followed w-what the man i-in the tv s-said and their n-not b-breathing ' waaaaaaah'. beeeeep

hmm , seems I've got everything well seya , as I finished sprinkling gas oil I'll over in the house I checked my things and head through the back door leading to a forest , a soon as I'm far enough Iight the whole place on fire , " five , four , three , two " just in time I hear sirens , seems Ike their here , oh well , too late "one " .
