The SSS rank lord was once an angel.

As a fallen angel opposing the gods for humanity's sake, I faced laughter from divine beings. In response, they cast me down to endure mortal pain. 'Damn you, gods! I'll live a better life, becoming the global lord, seeking to kill each one of you for humanity's sake.' I closed my eyes in the face of laughter and those creepy faces. Consumed by hatred and a thirst for revenge, my only mistake was pitying suffering mortals. Is it fair to put them on trial and play with their lives just because they are mortals? For humanity's sake, I'll get my revenge. Just because we are good people, we don't deserve to be trampled. Just wait; I'll show you the real hell every day, you immortals

Chapter-12

I think there must be a way to kill this siren, but is it okay to kill a lady, even if she is an ugly monster? She is still a lady. I think I'm thinking too much; this woman killed her own kids, she is not worthy of being called a woman. She didn't even have pity on her own child, so leaving her alive is a danger to society.

No, I should kill this monster. As I pondered over the dilemma of whether to kill the siren, the crashing waves echoed my inner turmoil. The salty breeze carried the weight of my decision as I gazed upon the treacherous beauty before me. Her ethereal form emerged from the depths, a juxtaposition of allure and menace. I was racking my brain to get some idea to kill her, but I couldn't come up with any ideas.

Suddenly, amidst my contemplation, a mysterious message appeared before me:

[Do you want to learn sword art that can cut through any kind of metal? Y/N]

I think this can help me. I choose the choice as yes.

It felt like a divine intervention, a beacon of hope amidst the darkness of uncertainty. Without hesitation, I chose "yes".

[Congrats! You have learned the sword art which can cut through any metal.] the message announced, infusing me with newfound determination.

As I mulled over my next move, the siren's voice interrupted my thoughts, "Babe, what are you thinking? Let's get married; I'll treat you like treasure," she blinked one eye. This disgusting female siren is trying to flirt with me. "I will give you one chance to release me; if not, you will die at my hands." The female siren suddenly became quiet. Is she going to show her true colors now? Are you upset that you are not my first, is that it? Are you jealous of my ex-husband? Don't worry, I like you more than them, and they are not as handsome as you." When she praised my looks, I can't deny that I'm indeed handsomer than those ugly sirens.

But I am human, and humans age, which means I will become old one day and be ugly too. So I can't be too proud of my handsomeness. I was trying to distract her so that once she let her guard down, I can release myself.

"You mean if I become ugly one day, you will leave me and find someone else, is that it?" I cut through the metal net with my sword.

Despite her attempts to distract me with seductive words, I remained steadfast in my resolve.

As she tempted me with promises of affection, I steeled myself against her beguiling charms. With a swift motion, I cut through the metal net, a testament to the newfound strength coursing through my veins

"It finally worked," she was shocked to see me cut through the metal net, that's what I thought.

Her shock mirrored my own as I stood before her, a mere mortal wielding divine power. But her words, dripping with intrigue, hinted at a deeper game at play.

"As I thought, you are not an ordinary human; you have a divine aura around you. Do you think I was shocked to see you cut through that metal net?" she inquired, her tone laced with curiosity.

She was just trying to test me from the start. Undeterred by her attempts to manipulate me, I remained resolute in my decision. "Did you drop your intention of marrying me now?" I challenged, refusing to succumb to her wiles. I don't know what she was planning in her mind; she changes her mood too fast.

Even don't change their clothes this fast as how she changed. I was almost got in her acting.

"What are you exactly?" She asked, coming towards me as she emerged from the water. Her face changed, and the monstrous look disappeared; she looked beautiful. She was not ugly at all; she was gorgeous. Her sudden transformation from monstrous to beautiful only served to reinforce the danger lurking beneath her enticing exterior. Though tempted by her allure, I knew better than to trust appearances alone. I would not have minded marrying her now, but knowing her nature, I don't know when she'll show her fangs. Because of her looks, I can't forgive her past mistakes. I shouldn't judge a person based on her looks. What if she is beautiful now? She is still the same, and a person's nature can't be changed once it's tainted.

"I changed my mind. Sorry, but I wasn't planning on marrying you in the first place," I asserted, recognizing the futility of succumbing to her charms. As if I'm begging her to marry me.

"Why would I even want to marry you? It's not like you're my type. I like cute, kind; you are not my type at all." She was totally my type what I still won't chose her, and I have my own goal. I came here to fight, not to play house with a siren, right?

"Too bad, but I was thinking of having a taste of you a bit." She attacked me with her nails. I wielded the blade and cut her nails.

"Uhh, I like the sadist type," she said as she tried to attack me again, but I cut her into pieces. However, she was still alive and breathing. Her body became intact again. "Are you shocked to see me alive, my dear?" Her nails, which I cut with my blade, grew again. "I am an immortal siren. I've sucked so many life forces from my victims to keep myself younger and alive. Do you think I will die easily?"

She is as cruel as I thought; tainted nature can't be changed. "Sorry, grandma, but I am not into older women, especially those of my grandma's age."

This raised her anger. As the confrontation escalated, the siren's true nature revealed itself in a display of rage and power. "Looks like your mother didn't teach you well that no woman likes to be called aged, especially a woman like me." she seethed, unleashing a cacophony of sound that reverberated through the air.

Mother? I didn't have one, nor does owner of this body. As an angel, we have something called a supreme lord as our creator. I envy those who have mothers, but they don't treat them well.

"I don't have one, grandma. I am an orphan." It's true anyway. The siren started to make a very noisy sound that everything started trembling, even the rocks split in half. The effect of the potion which I drank is wearing off too. My ears started to bleed. I saw something like a gem.

I took a gem the size of her mouth and shoved it in her mouth. "Take this and shut up." I don't know what it was, but at least she was quiet.

In a desperate bid to silence her, I seized a gem-like object and shoved it into her mouth, hoping to quell the storm of her fury.

"Now it's quiet," I was relieved that I don't have to listen to her noise anymore.

"What... did you...?" she was mumbling something. I couldn't understand what she was saying. The gem emitted a brilliant light as it disappeared into her, leaving me bewildered by its mysterious power. It absorb the sirens whole body in it.

"What was that gem? It's too dangerous," I can't figure out what just happened. I was completely shocked. In that moment of uncertainty, one thing became abundantly clear: the battle against the siren was far from over.

"I don't know if it was the right to do but today was totally unlike me."

[Congratulations on obtaining the gem called 'Siren's Soulstone] a message proclaimed as I held the shimmering gem in my hand.

"Ah, so it was a soul stone," I murmured, my mind racing with questions. The notion of a soul stone capable of trapping the power of a siren intrigued me, yet I couldn't shake the mystery of how such a small stone could contain the essence of an immortal being. Perhaps it wasn't the stone's size that mattered, but rather its inherent properties.

As I contemplated the implications, I carefully stowed the gem away, its weight seeming heavier with the weight of newfound knowledge.

[Congratulations on clearing the dungeon.] The message appeared, signaling the end of my arduous journey. With a sense of accomplishment, I surveyed the chamber one last time, taking in the remnants of the battle that had unfolded within its walls.

As the dungeon started to shake, the ground beneath me quivered like a living entity protesting its captivity. With a sense of urgency, I instinctively bent down, seeking stability amidst the chaos. In that moment, my gaze fell upon the wall behind me, adorned with a painting of a siren. Her mesmerizing eyes seemed to pierce through the canvas, while a gleaming gem adorned her forehead, casting an ethereal glow.

Beside her stood a figure that I hadn't noticed before—a half-human, half-snake male, his visage both captivating and fearsome. His serpent-like features twisted into a menacing grin, hinting at secrets buried within the depths of his gaze. As the trembling intensified, the wall cracked and splintered, breaking apart like the fragile facade of a forgotten dream.

What lay beyond took my breath away—an enchanting realm unveiled before my eyes, a stark contrast to the desolation of the dungeon. The air hummed with an otherworldly energy, and the surroundings burst forth in a symphony of colors. Trees adorned with glowing gems shimmered like celestial beacons, casting a radiant glow upon the landscape. A majestic waterfall cascaded from above, its crystalline waters sparkling with a luminous allure.

Drawn by the captivating beauty of this hidden paradise, I felt an irresistible pull—a beckoning invitation to immerse myself in its wonders. The water, aglow with an iridescent hue, seemed to whisper promises of untold mysteries and undiscovered truths. As I stood on the threshold of this newfound realm, I couldn't help but marvel at the inexplicable allure of the hidden oasis concealed behind the dungeon's walls.

As I approached the shimmering waters, my eyes caught sight of a delicate flower nestled among the vibrant foliage. Its petals, kissed by the glow of the surrounding gems, seemed to beckon to me, a silent invitation to grasp its beauty. But as I reached out to pluck the flower, a sudden voice shattered the tranquility of the moment.

"Go away! How dare you come here?" The voice reverberated through the air, tinged with a mixture of anger and indignation. Startled, I froze in place, my hand hovering inches above the flower.
