Chapter 18: Going shopping
After four hours of preparation both sides were finally through. Alex was outside waiting for Emily to show up at the car. After few minutes she finally came out, she was wearing a Red gown with black heels.
"I said we can go shopping on the road there was no need to overdress yourself now people will keep on staring and I will have to pluck so many people eyes" Alex said with a serious face
"I have to dress nice no matter what even if we are going shopping" Emily replied
Alex didn't say anything he was only looking at her with a serious face
"wait you are not really serious about plucking their eyes are you?" Emily asked
After one minute of silence Alex finally answered
"if their stare disgust me I will" Alex replied opening the door for her then he entered the driver's side.
After few minutes of driving they stopped at a shopping mall.
"Hello sir welcome to Necropolis Shopping mall" They were greeted by the guard at the gate.
" Sir how may we be of help to you sir" a female voice was coming from the front.
She looks in her 30's she had a voluptuous body with big breast that was appropriate and a hourglass figure with black eye and brown hair reaching her back and tight ass with black professional suit and white shirt.
"I am the manager of Necropolis Shopping mall and I am here to escort Mr Alex who requested for VIP treatment" The manager
She was looking at him like she was doubting him because he only wore a cap,Red Polo and black trousers.
"Yes I am Mr Alex" Alex replied while smiling
"Then I shall lead you there right now" The manager replied
While they were walking Alex and Emily was talking to themselves
"so why didn't you wear a more attractive cloth" Emily asked
"so you mean I am not attractive like this?" Alex replied forming a serious face
"No it not that it just that the cloth...." Emily was saying before she was interrupted
"The cloth is what?" Alex said staring at her
"Nothing just leave me alone" Emily said frowning her face a little
After few seconds Alex spoke again
" It just that I am used to it expecting since I don't like that much attention since kid and my parents also dressed like this they said that they were a lot of people who are after us I don't understand them till now but they are gone" Alex said with a sad expression
"What a mysterious man dressing like an average man if I am to meet him I will surely ignore him" The manager said
"Does that mean you lost your parents from kid" Emily said feeling sad
"Well I am happy now having you even now I know they are not dead I can meet them someday" Alex said looking forward with a dazed expression
"Do you mean they ran away and left you?" Emily asked
" No, I knew currently that they have gone to prepare a place for me" Alex said
"Where?" Emily asked
"Somewhere special" Alex replied
"In the land of the dead right" The manager thought to herself
"No not in the land of the dead" Alex said frowning his face a bit while looking at the manager
"Hmm why did you say that?" Emily asked confused by what he said
"Me, I thought she said in the land of the dead" Alex said pointing at the manager
"She didn't say anything" Emily said
" Maybe I was imagining it" Alex said confused
Emily was also confused only The manager who thought about it
"How can he hear my thoughts" the manager thought
"Hmm Allison, how can I hear her thoughts?" Alex asked
" That I don't know" Allison replied
"What about you Helius" Alex asked again
"There have been some changes since the last time you checked the system this is one of them" Helius replied
"You can also communicate with her too" Helius replied again
"Is that why you voice is sounding more humanlike now?" Alex asked
"Yes" Helius replied
"Why don't you try it out " Allison said
"So why do you think I am mysterious" Alex said
"Hmm who is that" The manager said out loud
"What?" Emily and Alex asked at the same time
"Please did you say anything" The manager asked
"No" both of them responded again
"It seems there is a ghost in our presence" Alex said again
"Who are you?" The manager said in her mind
"Alex withdraw she is higher than you it may backfire" Allison said urgent
Alex immediately withdrew while The manager felt that the person was gone.
"That was strange" She thought
"So what is your name" Alex asked
"Me?" the manager asked
"Yes" Alex replied
"It is Jessica" the manager replied
"So Miss Jessica, why is it that we got the manager of the mall as our escort?" Alex asked
"Well true I am to escort VVIP but you are the only VIP we have since you booked the whole VIP room" Jessica replied
"What! You booked the whole VIP room just because we want to buy cloth" Emily said surprised
"Well I just thought we could use some private time" Alex said Smiling
"To do what, and why do I feel you booked the whole of where we are going to" Emily said
"Actually I did and we can do many things" Alex said
"Like?" Emily asked
"Hehehe, You will know soon" Alex laughed
"Damn this guy is a pervert I think I might regret escorting them since I don't want to get in their
Way" Jessica thought
"I think I will enjoy this Mind thing" Alex thought
"Don't worry you won't disturb" Alex said keeping a neutral face like he was talking to himself
"Hmm" Both Jessica and Emily said
"Nothing" Alex said
