Epilogue

"Uugh!"she groaned

She buried her face in the pillow, kicking her legs forth and back.

The room fell silent.

Ashley was sitted at the corner watching her grumble and when she was stopped,"Are you done?" She asked being rhetorical.

Katniss sat up on the bed.

"No! I'm not." The tiny, small voice came."I'm tired of talking about him." She tried to be angry.

"You can't be, I haven't said anything yet." Ashley said .

She groaned again and fell backwards on the bed.

Ashley stood up and made her way to the large-sized bed. She climbed and sat down with folded legs.

"Katniss,"She called, softly

Katniss turned to her.

"Give him a chance,"

"What kind of chance? who is he? what does he want?" She asked tons of questions"I'm not interested!" She turned away.

Ashley sighed.

"We've been over this!" Ashley said on the top of her voice causing Katniss to sit up quickly."He's name is Cole Perry, He's the school most handsome and popular boy, everybody has a crush on him..."

"Not me," Katniss cut in

"Why??" Ashley's voice came in like thunder.

Katniss' eyes zeroed on her.

Ashley sighed again to lay off some steam.

"Tell me Katniss," Ashley said while dusting Katniss' shoulders"why don't you like him. Cole's nice, he's cool, he's everything a young girl like you could wish for,"

Katniss was giving her a skeptical look.

"Don't give me that shitty look." Ashley stood up.

She was annoyed. It was the fourteenth time today and she had not made progress.

"Why can't you date him?"

"Come on Katniss!" she yelled "I have a boyfriend."

"Then be happy and leave me alone," Katniss said with a cute smile.

Ashley shot her a glare causing her smile to drop.

The silence came again but it broke when Katniss spoke.

"Wait a minute...Did he tell you to do this?"Katniss asked.

Ashley snapped a look at Katniss before looking away and muttering a "Noo!"

"Of course he did," She gasped "Why didn't I notice?" She asked herself

"He didn't," Ashley said with her gaze not exactly meeting Katniss'

"Don't lie to me, you're my best friend I know when you're lieing."

"I'm not lieing. I'm doing this because I want to," Ashley hesitated trying to keep her words together."Do I look like a minion? Well I'm not!" She scoffed

"Really??" Katniss cocked a brow

Ashley stole a glance at Katniss.

"Don't look at me like that. All-all I'm saying is that you talk to him." Ashley said,"You're my best friend and I want the best for you." Ashley sat.

Katniss knew something was odd. Her gaze was still on Ashley and she could see her tensing up.

"Ok, it's late I have to get home." Ashley grabbed her purse.

"Late! It's like 6 p.m."

"Yeah, I have curfew."

"Isn't that by 8 p.m?" Her response came in quick.

"Really?" Ashley rubbed the back of her neck trying to make up a lie."I-err-I have to meet Jayden somewhere," She stammered

"Okay, See you tomorrow at school." Katniss hugged her.

"Okay bye-bye bestie!"

"Bye." She watched Ashley scurry out of the room.

She sighed and landed on her bed.

*Buzz*

Her phone beeped.

It was a text from "Soul Sister"

It read;

     Think about what I said, okay?

                 Bye bestie,

She threw her phone to the corner after she read the text.

She sighed.
