Classes hadn't even started yet and Ivy was already overwhelmed. She had moved into her dorm the weekend before and didn't quite know what to make of her roommate Kayla. It was difficult to interact with new people without having the benefit of knowing what they thought of her.
She had gone to the orientation for her major already and met a few people there too before a bunch of them decided to go bowling together. It still amazed her that being in crowded places wasn't a problem anymore.
Though she had been apprehensive about interacting with a group, she ended up enjoying herself and told Carson all about it when they met up for lunch the next day. He hadn't bothered hanging out with anyone after his orientation was done because he had wanted to binge the new season of an anime he liked that had recently come out.
"It's weird talking to new people without knowing what's in their heads," Ivy confessed. "I don't know what to say to them."
