Henry had already realized that the high the number of monsters he kills, the huge the improvement in his strength.

In particular, Henry had found out that, if he continue killing the monsters without depending on hot weapons like guns, then the improvement in his strength was even higher.

If not for the fact that being outside was dangerous at the moment, then Henry will have actually gone hunting for the monsters.

Knowing that to survive in the apocalypse required a lot of strength, then he really needed to get stronger. But, he wasn't willing to risk his life for that. How was he going to get stronger if he die?

Henry and Adam got into a room and stayed inside it. They were heading towards the armory of the facility. But, they had found out that there were actually more wolves in this area as compared to the gate area.

This made Henry frown. Even though he really wished to use other types of weapons to kill the monster so that he could get stronger, he knew the advantage of using the guns.

Even though it was true that they were going to attract more monsters towards their direction, they could at least kill the monsters faster. And since they were not going to stay at the same position, the faster they deal with the monsters they encounter, the better it was for their side.

"Henry, what do we do next?" Adam asked in a whispering voice. He knew the situation that they were in wasn't good at all. They were surrounded by monsters in every direction.

With any mistake that they made, they were risking being torn apart. Adam had already seen several corpse that belonged to both the youths and the staff members of the facilities.

Even the ones in charge of security, the ones who had always bullied them, had been severely torn apart into several pieces. The gruesome death was something that Adam didn't want to experience.

But, he was also logical enough to know that, there was no other way out of the situation other than fighting. Since the monsters were all over the facility, there was no way that they could hide from them everyday.

What's more, they needed food. There was no way that they were going to hide inside a single place without looking for food. They would at some point have to go out and face the monsters so that they can get food.

But the current situation was tricky to them. The only source of hope that they had in mind, was already occupied by wolves. In order to get the guns and bullets that were stocked inside the armory, they would have to deal with over a dozen of wolves.

With only four bullets remaining, they will definitely have to throw out the possibility of using a gun to shoot them dead. Even with Henry's skills, there was no way that he was going to utilize four bullets to kill 12 or so wolves.

Henry remained silent as he looked outside the window. He had already begun calculating on what moves he was going to take next. He had to find a way of killing the wolves faster without using the bullets.

But all along,, he didn't have any other weapon other than the steel pipe that he was holding. That was something that depended on the brute strength to impact a lot of damage on the target.

But currently, Henry didn't possess that amount of strength, where he could kill a wolf with a single shot. After thinking for a long time, suddenly, a screen appeared in front of him.

Henry wondered why the system had appeared at this moment. But still, he read the words that had appeared in front of him.

[At a certain price, the host can buy a lot of things from the system. It doesn't matter what it is, the host can purchase it at a reasonable price that has been quoted by the system.]

Immediately after that, Henry saw that a long list of things appeared in front of him. And, what made his eyes shine the most was the fact that, all these things were quoted with a price. And the currency that was being used by the system was actually mutation crystals!

He began reading the list, to see if there was anything that he could afford that was essential to him.

The long list of weapons went on as there was different types of weapons that were on the list. There were even types of weapons that Henry had never heard of them before.

But all the same, Henry was completely shocked by the lots of information. Moreover, the system actually sold both guns and other weapons. But what surprised him the most was the fact that the price was exceedingly high for the current him.

Even the cheapest amongst all the weapons present was the pistol. And, it was sold at a price of 15 mutation crystals. Currently, Henry didn't have even 10 of them. He currently possessed only four mutation crystals.

Additionally, even the prices of bullets had been stated there. And, they were not selling them in terms of numbers of bullets, but a whole box.

A single box of bullets was sold at a price of five mutation crystals. Even though the bullets were the cheapest, Henry didn't have enough crystals to buy it.

There was a plenty load of information about the things that Henry could purchase. In fact, Henry was startled to find out that he would actually purchase information about himself, or even Adam.

But the most frustrating thing was the fact that the price, of everything was definitely higher than he had expected. He was actually poor that he couldn't buy anything, even the cheapest amongst them.

Again, there was a long list that contained several types of foods. This made Henry's eyes shine with excitement because, the main problem in the apocalypse was definitely food and water. But, he could actually purchase all of this from the system as long as he had the mutation crystals.

Note 3: The host can gain more mutation crystals by selling the bodies of the apocalyptic creatures that he has slain to the system.

With that, the chapter of system prompts ended. Henry was left with a lot to contemplate about. But the thing that he was thinking about the most was definitely the notes that he had received.

If he could, he really wished to beat up the system for not informing him early, that he could actually sell the bodies of the monsters that he had killed, to get the mutation crystals.

Although he didn't know the current price that was offered for the body of a wolf, still, he was sure that with the number of wolves and the fox that he had killed, he would have gotten at least a single mutation crystal, right?

With five mutation crystals, he could perhaps purchase bullets that could be utilized to deal with the situation that he was in. But now, there was no way that he was going back there to look for the bodies of the wolves that he had killed.

But still, there was another thing that caught his attention. That was the fact that, a level one mutation crystal was what a hundred unranked mutation crystals.

Putting his hand in his pocket, Henry took out the full mutation crystals. Looking at them, he saw that there was one of them that was shining with a bright luster than the others. That was the mutation crystal that he had taken from the body of the wolf that he had killed after shooting three times.

After he had killed that wolf, the system informed him that he had killed a level one wolf. For that reason, the mutation crystal that he had gotten was also level 1.

Henry's breath staggered for a moment, as he never expected something like this. At the moment, if he converted the level 1 mutation crystal, he would be currently having 103 mutation crystals.

Although it was true that they were unranked, they were the currency that were used by the system's shop. With 100 mutation crystals, he was going to be capable of purchasing several important things that were going to help him to survive in this apocalypse.

The last thing was definitely about the loan system. He could actually borrow a certain amount of mutation crystals from the system! This was a heaven sent opportunity.

With great expectation in his heart, Henry muttered in his heart, 'System, I would like to see how much I can borrow.
