Chapter 4.

{GROWL}

I looked behind me and saw the goblin i threw off already standing up . Along with it the other 2 goblins where walking towards with a sick smiles on their faces.

I began to panic , the goblins where walking towards me slowly probably trying to intimidate me. Then all of a sudden the goblin with the sword charged at me . It's speed was fast and he covered nearly all of the distance between us instantly.

When the goblin was about 2 steps away from me he jumped in the air and aimed his sword at my head. Luckily I managed to tilt my body towards the left. The goblin lost its balance and fell down.

I immediately looked around the class for a weapon and in the corner of my eyes I saw a fire extinguisher about 70 m away from me. I ran as fast as my body could take me and I reached the extinguisher in less than 3 seconds.

The remaining two goblins seemed to be enjoying the battle as none of them have moved since the goblin with the sword charged at me . I grabbed the extinguisher and ran towards the goblin with the sword, which was already standing up.

I slammed the extinguisher in to its head causing the goblin to fall back down, I then smashed the extinguisher into the goblin's stomach ,

{CRACK}

A cracking sound was made as the extinguisher broke the goblins rib cage, the {CRACK} sound was followed by a loud screech.

The screech went on for about 20 seconds before it stopped abruptly.

[Host has slayed a goblin].

I was panting and trying to catch my breath when another goblin jumped in the air and was about to stab me .

The fire extinguisher was to far from me to use as a weapon. I decided to give up and just die. The moment I thought this my body became relaxed and warm. I could feel my body become warmer by the second , and it was very comfortable.

Never in my life did I ever think that I would pleasurably be awaiting my death. But then a cold sensation started to tingle from my spine. The sensation was cold and painful, the exact opposite of the warm sensation I felt earlier, This sensation was my 'Battle instinct '.

My battle instincts kicked in as the goblins knife was about to stab my head, I lunged myself backwards . By lunging myself backwards I may have prolonged the amount of time I will live, but prolonging my death won't do any good if I don't have a weapon.

So I decided to test my luck and use one of my skills, If my commerades back at the navy knew that I was putting my life on something I wasn't sure about I would become a laughing stock. Back at the navy , I was the most rational person in my squad,I wouldn't do anything without thinking about every single consequence of my action. And here I was trusting my life to a maybe.

But if I don't try to use a skill, I'll probably die ,so there isn't any risk. I concentrated on the skill 'Soul weapon ' and then, The body of the goblin I just killed started to emis a black smoke.

The black smoke had an eerie felling to it, just like the black gem I touched. My body felt warm as the black smoke began to envelope it. After the black smoke completely enveloped my body, it started to compress around my right arm and made a sword.

The sword seemed to be made of the compressed form of the 'black smoke' and it felt solid in my hand. Although it felt solid it was constantly emiting a faint black smoke. The sword also had the same aura that the black smoke had as it was made from the black smoke.

I raised my right hand where the sword was and sliced down. Because the goblin was in the air it couldn't dodge the incoming sword.

{SLICE}

With a vertical swing of my sword , the goblin was sliced perfectly in two.

[Host has killed a goblin ]

I ignored the message, and I looked at the last goblin, It's eyes were now bloodshot red and the veins around it's eyes where bulging. It seemed to be in some type of crazes state.

The goblin charged at me with speeds faster than those of the other goblins. The goblin was moving at a very fast speed and when it was about 3 metres away from me I activated my other skill 'Death aura ' .

I tried activating my other skill 'Death Aura' the same way I activated my first skill 'Soul weapon' . And it worked my second skill activated, Black smoke started to exit my body from the pores on my skin. The black smoke was identical to the black smoke that the goblin emited.

The moment the black smoke was emited from my body, the goblin that was charging at me stopped in its tracks and broke out in a cold sweat. The goblin began to tremble and each step I took closer to it caused it to tremble even more.

When I was directly infront of the goblin, I swiped my hand in an horizontal motion. And with this motion the goblin's head fell to the ground, The goblin's face had an expression of fear plastered on his now beheaded head, the expression on his face showed the way he looked before he died.

After I leveled up I could feel my body become stronger.And seeing that my strength stat increased after I leveled up, it is safe to say that my body's condition increases as I level up.

*From the fight I had with the goblins I have comfirmed 2 things ;

1. by concentrating on my skills I can activate them ,

2. I can use both skills at the same time but doing that depletes Mana a lot ,* I thought.

I walked towards the door and tried to open it but it didn't open, It was then that I remembered that the door was locked by that b*tch.

I backed away from the door and when I reached a good enough distance form the door, I charged towards it ramming my body into the door.
