First time cultivating...

Theo walked down the corridors as he passed his skeleton hand through the walls.

'This is definitely a medieval world... Well, I don't know why I expected to be in the modern world when i'm literally a skeleton...' Theo thought, knowing it was foolish to think that the world really was of an advanced society.

He had already learned magic, and since everything was real, but he still had a little hope of being in the modern world.... He didn't know why, after all, this world was better in everything. Be strong and you get money, be strong and you can get anything. In the modern world, you either have money or you don't. Although someone can get rich if try hard, the result is not guaranteed. Unlike this world, where if you have enough strength, the result will always be guaranteed.

Theo sighed. 'What time is it anyway?' He thought, while his hand went automatically into his pocket, in search of his cell phone. 'Oh... I don't have a cell phone anymore...' He thought of disappointment, but soon, it became an internal despair.

'Wait... I don't have a cell phone?! That means I won't be able to listen to music?!!!!!!! And my desire to kill my enemies to the sound of some music??? What the hell!!!!' He thought frustrated, but did not let it show, while Charlotte followed him behind, sobbing at times. She had already calmed down, but he could clearly see that she was totally grateful to him... And if he could see it, it was because it was really true. He was terrible at reading people.

'Well... The music I can solve later, the problem now is: how am I going to deal with this girl?' Theo thought in some ways to deal with her, he did not want that as soon as he came to this world, he would be betrayed by the first person he tried to create a bond... Just the thought of it happening he's already feeling a bitter taste at the thought of Charlotte. Maybe his Lich personality influenced him in that.

He continued to walk, while thinking of possible ways not to be betrayed, and finally came to the conclusion...

'That's it!' As a click on his mind, he knew what to do. Brainwashing. He needed her to bring souls to him, and the more, the better. A human could attract other humans much more easily than a skeleton, which is considered an evil monster.

Leaving the place where he was, they came across in the middle of the forest, when Theo turned to Charlotte, who was looking at him, holding the tears in her eyes.

'Well, it doesn't look like it's going to be that hard...' He thought, as he turned forward.

"Charlotte, why are you following me?" He asked, he knew she had a motive, and he knew that by saying that, she wouldn't leave just because of what he said at that point.

Charlotte listened, as she sighed, and looked back at Theo's skull. It was still a little scary to her, but she would rather stare Theo for a day than see a human's smile for a minute.

"I... I want you to help me..." She said, with a slightly faint voice because of the crying.

"Help you huh... And what would I gain from that?" Theo asked, not minding to ask what help she needed, as long as he had benefits, he would accept. Not to mention that from her own way, she seemed to have some problems other than that man. He knew that only the man to have thrown her into the wall wouldn't make her as dirty as she was now. Not to mention the small cuts and scratches, which don't seem to have been made by guns.

"What do you get?..." Charlotte asked, confused... She thought he was her savior, so he would help her out of pure altruism... But she was wrong, and for some reason, it only further increased her admiration for Theo. He went against every book she's ever read!

"Yes. What do I get?" Theo asked again, waiting for Charlotte's answer.

"I... I don't know..." Charlotte said, she couldn't answer that, because She didn't think Theo would ask for anything in return...

"Well, then, if I'm going to help you, you're going to owe me a favor, are you okay with that?" Theo replied, already planning what he would do, but he needed more magical proficiency. He needed to be stronger to do what he wanted, and that's where Charlotte came in.

"Yes..." Charlotte answered Theo as she nodded. She didn't even think what kind of favor Theo would do, just thinking about the bodies of her old friends ending up the same as the man, she was already happy enough.

"Very well... And what kind of help do you need?" Theo asked, while looking at Charlotte waiting for an answer.

"I want you to... Make me stronger." She answered with sparkle in her eyes. She wanted to be like Theo and hold them by the neck and stick her hand in their chests. Make them feel what she felt.

Theo nodded. 'And how am I going to do that if even I am not strong enough?!' Theo thought, but didn't say it out loud.

"All right, I can do that, but you know it's going to take a while." He replied to Charlotte, who nodded in response.

"No problem..." She said.

"And what do you need strength for?" Theo asked, as he straightened a part of his tunic, which had entered between his ribs.

"I want... Revenge..." Charlotte spoke, a little low, because she didn't want him to refuse to help because of her selfish goal.

Theo nodded. 'Revenge huh... I already know where to get all 30 souls...' He thought, it wouldn't take long for him to reach the limit, and he knew that after reaching the limit of souls, he would achieve something...

Theo didn't say anything else as he walked forward and stood near a tree. Theo raised his skeleton hand, when from it, strong lightinings were formed that illuminated that part of the forest, they pops and made loud noises, driving away the monsters nearby.

The violent lightinings increased more and more, when all that could be seen in Theo's hand was an irregular circle formed only by rays that moved like snakes and made loud noises.

Charlotte looked at it with admiration. She already knew this skeleton wasn't normal, and that proved it. She had never seen lightining magic, although it existed, she never saw it firsthand, but still knew that doing any kind of magic without creating a magic circle was impossible.

She was surprised, but did not comment, while looking at what she thinked as an abnormality.

Theo raised his arm and punched hard with his fist fully imbued with his akuma no mi power. The punch burst into the tree, splitting it in two with an explosion of electricity. The top fell to the side, while the spot where Theo's punch fell began to catch fire, while some blue rays could be seen on the wood's trunk.

Charlotte looked shocked at this, only a casual punch with these lightinings could split a tree in the middle. Gradually she knew she made the right choice. She often thought about running away, but for some reason, she knew that if she stayed, her future would be better.

Theo nodded to the power of his fruit. It was truly worthy of being called one of the strongest logias. He wanted to test his limits in this place, since he needed to know the extent of his strength and get to know each other better.

He raised a hand, when a small blue ball was formed in his palm, it was made purely of lightinings, which danced around it. He then threw it forward with full strenght, and as soon as it hitted a tree, it exploded like a bomb.

The difference is that the explosion was a perfect blue circle of lightning, which swallowed some trees together. When the blue circle was gone, no tree that was inside it could be seen, not even the remnants, almost as if it had evaporated.

A crater about 4 meters a diameter was left on the ground, signaling the size of the explosion. When he saw this, Theo was astonished, next to Charlotte, who smiled happily, she knew Theo was different, but didn't know he was on that level.

Charlotte's blood boiled as she looked at the explosion, wondering how high she was going to be on this mighty Lich's side.

But Charlotte's excitement didn't come anywhere near that of Theo, who looked at that crater on the ground with her bone chin down.

'What?!!! I just made a little lightining ball!!! What if I did any of the powers Enel did in the anime? I could destroy a city with that!' Theo thought excitedly, he knew he could make a ball bigger than that, and seeing the power of this little sphere, he knew that if he gave the most, he could destroy at least a few houses with a big ball.

And best of all, using the power of the fruit didn't make him tired! It wasn't like magic that needed mana, he could just use as much as he wanted. What if he did a spam of that?

Soon his thinking was changed for him flying over a city, when thousands of blue dragons fell on it, and he at the center of it all laughed as he watched the explosions annihilate an entire city.

If he wasn't a skeleton, he'd be drooling right now, wondering how much strong he could be. Shaking his head, he looked at Charlotte, who was looking at him with admiration. He didn't use his entire power in front of her for a few reasons. One, he wasn't an idiot, and he'd know the extent of his power if he used a little of it. And two, he didn't want to kill her, she was his ticket to get more souls.

"I'll teach you about magic, in two months, you can do like me." Theo spoke to Charlotte, who smiled and tried to hold on to her tears of gratitude. Of course Theo was lying. Although it is a half true, for she could do this with magic, but it would still have a mana limit, and Theo only has the limit of proficiency. Although he can only use as much as he can control, he can still send a spam, unlike her.

"Your lessons will start tomorrow, go back inside and go to sleep, I don't want an unruly student." Theo said, trying not to laught hard of satisfaction, he always wanted to be superior in the hierarchy, despite his simple life. Who has never dreamed of sitting on a throne and staying in a badass pose? If you say no, you're lying, obviously.

And Theo felt he was one step closer to realizing that dream.

Charlotte waved to Theo, she was tired by running, crying and using too much mana, she went inside and it didn't take long for her to fall asleep.

Theo stood outside as he sat on the ground and looked at the starry sky, which had three moons. Although one seemed incomplete. He admired that scene for a few minutes... Until he realized something, he wasn't sleepy.

'Maybe it's one of the effects of being a Lich?' He thought, looking up at the sky. 'Well, since I'm not sleepy... Maybe I should try the cultivation technique I got? It doesn't hurt to try. Although I don't think I have a dantian." Thinking about it, Theo sat in a lotus position while his breathing was getting more regular.

He didn't find it difficult to go into a meditative state while doing what the technique teached. One thing he realized as he entered this state was that he could feel his body as if he were an ordinary human, not a skeleton. He could feel the full extent of his body, even though it was a skeleton and no longer has a body beyond the bones.

And inside that body, in the center of the torax, was his dantian. He felt his veins, and found that what he was looking at was his soul. He didn't know how, but somehow he felt that this was his soul.

The veins were responsible for the absorption of Qi from the environment, and by the knowledge of the technique, he knew that the veins he had were of the best possible quality.

Using his breath, his veins began to pull qi from the environment, which went toward his dantian quickly, a stream of Qi began to go as if a trench had broken, and soon his dantian began to get bigger.

He felt the effects of cultivating with the technique called... 'Dark Vacuun Dan', he didn't know why that name, but he knew qi was coming into it like a mad.

The situation outside this mental landscape was also no different.

Theo was sitting on the floor, while the mana of the environment began to be sucked madly into his body, as if something was pulling it with all the force. It all went towards the center of his torax, when it began to crystallize and form a kind of black sphere, which was in the center of the ribs. Every second he passed, the sphere gets bigger... But after a while, she stopped growing, when inside her, little black dots appeared.

It was hard to see, because the completely dark sphere made it difficult. But someone who looked closely could see.

Within Theo's mental landscape, the situation was no different. He saw his dantian form in the form of a black spiral, and in the center of it was an even blacker sphere. As if it were a small galaxia, which rotated as the amount of Qi entered his body.

He saw that after the spiral stopped growing, inside it, small points began to emerge. He deduced this to be the qi condensing and accumulating in large quantities. There were 4 points, which although they did not increase, seemed to become blacker and denser as it continued.

He discovered how the growers of the novels could stand for several years in seclusion, this was addictive and very pleasurable, the feeling was indescribable!
