Going Against Me is Seeking Death

Ariya returned to the Kingdom with her army unscathed. Though the sweat beads and their drenched clothes were ever visible, but they were able to carry out their plan. Now for the next step.

She lift Tatiana's chin with her index finger.

"You should know who to fear young lady." She whispered and made the little princess shivered.

"Raymond, drag them to the dungeon. Make sure they feel at home there." Her smile is like the frosty snow, pure and beautiful but dangerous.

"Huh! You scumbag, if King Lance will know...Mmphh" Before she could continue, Ariya cupped her face with force, a chilly smile greeted her. She's a demon! A devil incarnate!

"He wouldn't," she leaned closer and whispered. The princess' expression is confused. How sure is she that his King wouldn't save her?

"Dead man tells no story." The words echoed through the pitiful princess' ears as she was dragged into the dungeon with her father.

"We need them alive. They will have to suffer the same torment that I had."

Her Generals only nodded. 'They will surely live like hell and wish to die.' They all thought. Their Queen suffered so much from her past life because of these people, now it's time to make them suffer.

"But Your Highness, the other Kingdoms are on move. Surely they are hunting us down." Clementus eyes shifted to worry.

"It's fine. That'll save me work. Let them come after me, and I'll show them that going against me, is seeking death."

"There's nothing left here your Highnesses." One of the royal armies reported. Lance' expression was rather calm, not even a slight panic would be seen. His father only heaved a sigh and continued to investigate the situation.

"Who would dare do this?" Conrad knelt down on the ground observing the dead bodies before his eyes.

"Your Highness! We found something." The guard handed them the flag of the raven. Ariya's possession. King Conrad's face contorted with fear. He absentmindedly took a step back almost falling on his knees.

"That's why. Even if Alzian Kingdom has a powerful army, facing a great sorceress at that would be difficult." Lance calmly said. he made a mental note about the things to consider in facing this great enemy. He's not really worried about the royal family, but because they are under his newly established alliance, as head, he needs to save face and conduct a thorough investigation about this one as soon as possible or else he will loose the trust of the other kingdoms. He let out an exasperated sigh. He couldn't imagine the enemy behind this big massacre,but to him, no matter what, they need to be obliterated or else the hard work that he put off to achieve his goal would vanish. His goals were vivid. His personality seemed hideous and going near him is like lurking in darkness. looking on the outside he seemed doing this to achieve peace and unity, but is that really it?

"Someone is going through my way and I cannot allow that. If the existence of this witch is a threat to my plans, then might as well eradicate her from the face of the earth" Lance chilling voice made the King questioned himself if he really knew his son well. He thinks he son became devious. However, after a while, Lance was calmly smiling at the citizens of Alzian who approached him.

'Must be my imagination' King Conrad thought and brushed the idea off.
