Chapter Sixty Nine
"Are we all ready?" Kasuyi asked as he looked around the five man circle that the group had made on the ground. He made eye contact with each of them, receiving an affirmative nod in return.
"Okay, let's do this." Kasuyi let out a deep breath of his own. Their hands were linked together, with a Philosopher's Stone in each of their joined grasps. On Kasuyi's mark, each of them began actively funneling mana into the stones, making the deep crimson stones glow a bright, warm red.
Kasuyi acted as the coordinator for everything, regulating any concerning fluctuation and letting everything run smoothly. As he concentrated on the stones, he felt them react to the magical energy that was being funneled into them, and instinctively reached out to that reaction from them.
