Tyr was dragged away and he couldn't believe that he had thrown himself in harm's way without thinking, ready to sacrifice his ambition for the sake of his father but Tyr also knew that the hit wouldn't be fatal.

The horse had taken him away but the enemies gave chase, arrows whistling past him, each getting closer to land a hit.

Tyr tried to get back up on his horse but the arrow lunged at his torso making it impossible without making his injury worse.

He couldn't afford that as there was no telling what could happen but he understood the importance of losing as little blood as possible.

He wasn't invulnerable to death and even he would die if he lost too much blood.

And finally, the arrows managed to hit his horse causing it to tumble into the ground and flinging Tyr into a nearby tree.

The impact caused some internal damage but it wasn't fatal, Tyr was glad that the horse didn't fall over him or that would have been a different case.
