Chapter 2 (The Past)
2 days ago, Danius woke up in this world. He remembers his life on Earth. He is 27 years old and works as an engineer. But the job doesn't pay him well. So, he took on the offer that he saw in an advertisement that they pay him 5000 bucks for becoming a volunteer and participate in a psychological research to determine the relationship between desire and human action. That day had gone to the office that was doing the research. They welcomed him warm heartedly. After a warm welcome the InCharge took him to the lab where he would be monitored for the following hours of the research. He sat down on the chair and a person next to him put something like a cap on his head to which are connected from a nearby computer. Danius asked the man, "Why are you putting this cap on me?" with a wondering expression on his face. The man politely answered," Sir, these are the electrodes which will help us monitor your mental condition. Please relax they are no harm.". Danius said that he is ready. And as soon as Danius said that he is ready a wave of shock ran through his body and he became unconscious.
The moment he woke up his mouth was left open because of the sight he has just seen. He was standing in middle of a street of town from medieval period. He could determine that it was from medieval period was due to the clothing of people and infrastructure of the town. There were people all around him and he could not determine that what just happened. At first, he thought that he is dreaming so pinch himself to check whether it is a dream or not and surprisingly it was not a dream coz it hurts. Now he was sure that he is not dreaming then what it is? With this question in his mind, he noticed a difference in his body. He noticed that he is smaller in height and his hands were those of kids. With an expression of uncertainty on his face he ran towards the fountain in front of him.
When he looked in the water in the fountain, he couldn't do anything but wonder. He saw that he turned into a kid. A cute kid with big royal blue eyes, a pointing nose and a well-defined face shape. But he was very thin, like he hadn't eaten anything in days and his cloth were loose and torn as they were pass down.
He stood straight, determining what to do now. Suddenly someone grab his hand from behind saying, "What are you doing? We have to go. Come on.". It was a woman. He now fell in a situation of extreme dilemma. He doesn't know how he turned into a kid teleported in a town he never saw before and now a woman has grabbed his hand is now pulling him with her. All these questions were revolving around in his head, the suddenly, he got an extreme headache. The pain was this extreme that he couldn't control but scream. The woman got a shocked expression on her face. She asked Danius, "what happened?". Suddenly Danius goes through a tunnel of images and slowly getting few memories. After sometime the pain ended and Danius got back to normal. Now he knows that who this person is as he got the memories of this person. Whether it is fate or luck, the child's name is also Danius. And woman who was holding his hand was his mother her name is Lara. He said to his mother," Mom, I am fine let's go home".
He now got most of the story and what is happening. He now knew that his previous life on Earth ended due to some reason and he is now given another chance to live. But a question still remained in his mind.
