Street Fight

When a person lacked all emotions, they were like a machine that acted majorly based on logic and when a person had all emotions, they had humanity which makes one act based on their feelings alongside logic.

Humanity was far away from Femi. But being emotionless and acting like a machine that moved on intuition and logic - or hunch as he called it - was a familiar thing for Femi.

That's another thing, Femi's logic and decisions are reliant on his 'hunch.' Even his emotionlessness wasn't normal.

Back in the room, Femi didn't have any feeling, he just wanted to meet the Mad Freak as soon as possible. As the two workers of Amma's Enterprise tried delaying him, his mind was instantly filled with thoughts on how to get rid of them and killing them wasn't excluded from those thoughts.

For some reason, just like when he was dealing with the Syncro Trio, he couldn't make the movements to kill.

The thoughts lingered in Femi's mind before, but with the Mad Freak's word and the situation that just occurred, Femi was sure he couldn't kill. A new found problem that he doesn't have a clue on where it stemmed from.

For now, Femi decided to move that aside. The anticipation from meeting the Mad Freak, one of those who would guide him to getting into humanity, was getting in Femi's head.

He moved around the roads of Sin City, his left hand placed on his sheathed sword.

The moon was still above the horizon so the streets were still buzzing with life.

Femi walked wherever he felt was the right way looking for his target.

His face was concealed with his mask, and his clothing that had a dark theme attracted eyes to him.

Not the eyes of the girls of the streets, they avoided Femi, but the eyes of plunderers who camped around here.

They trailed Femi but he didn't pay attention to them. He had found his target.

At the end of the road, in front of a cafe, the Mad Freak sat and was playing a guitar while singing, with a couple of girls surrounding and cheering him.

Those who were following Femi realized that he was approaching the Mad Freak while unsheathing his sword.

"Wait guys. H-he wants to attack Gabriel."

"The Lone Wanderer?"

"Fuck? A fight is about to occur! Everyone, scram!!"

"Did we almost beat up someone who wants to challenge Gabriel?"

The Mad Freak's reputation had scared the plunderer's away.

Femi continued walking, closing the distance between him and the Mad Freak.

"Oi, Mad Freak," Femi called out. Happiness rose within him.

Gabriel stopped the guitar and placed it on the table in front of him. Him and the girls around him turned to look at Femi.

Femi had unsheathed Negrazzul, dragging its blade on the floor causing a screeching sound.

He waved at Gabriel, "I guess I kept you waiting this time."

Gabriel's eyes widened a bit. His once lazy and tired looking face turned to a slightly energetic one. He stood from where sat leaving the midst of those around him, "Yeah, you did. And compared to you, I tend to get tired easily… Ah, call me Gabriel instead, that name really isn't meant for me."

Femi stood less than 3 meters away from Gabriel, the sword in his right hand pointing down. "Okay Gabriel, you can't blame me for not coming so soon. It's part of my problem that you mentioned earlier. Couldn't kill the interference."

Gabriel stroked his chin and smiled, "Is that so?'

Femi nodded, his smile hidden underneath the mask.

Gabriel brought a chair forward and sat back. He crossed his hands, then said, "So what'd you want now."

Femi tilted his head, "Hmmm… Communication is the key," He said, pointing his sword at the smirking Gabriel. "And I've heard the best way to communicate is through a fight."

As silence brewed between them, those on the streets panicked as they ran avoiding staying in that location.

A fight was about to start and a fight here can lead to a full on war between different parties. There was just a single Alliance office here and the head of the office was usually paid to not pay attention to fights and skirmishes like this.

Femi raised his sword up and ran straight at Gabriel.

He brought it down for a downward slash but Gabirel blocked by using the chair he sat on to intercept the sword.

The chair broke, but the impact didn't stop after hitting the sword. The remaining pieces of chair in Gabriel's hand hit Femi at the side.

Femi flew back a short distance and landed on his feet.

Gabriel laughed, "Hahahaha. Do you really want to fight me with a damaged bodysuit?"

Femi felt the pain sink in, but he only smiled more, "Who cares?"

As he ran, Gabriel took another chair and threw it at Femi. Femi pointed his sword downwards, held the flying chair and spun using the chair's motion, redirecting the chair back at Gabriel.

Gabriel blurted out an "Ooh" sound before a bang was heard.

Something penetrated the chair mid air and split apart.

Femi looked over at Gabriel, in a split second, a yellowish-green gun had appeared in Gabirel's hand.

"Now it's my turn to surprise you," Gabriel said, pointing the gun at Femi.

"I really love this!" Femi yelled. He said that because in just one night Gabriel had made him experience all the emotions he could. What a sign that Gabriel is truly what god sent.

Gabriel launched bullets at Femi making him move from his position.

Femi moved closer to the walls of the cafe, leaving gun marks behind him.

He kicked off the wall and did a backflip with the momentum from the kick. The instant he landed, he bolted at Gabriel.

"You're so fast with your legs!" Gabriel said. "But, you're still not using your ability to your fullest extent.

Gabriel's eyes changed to green again. "Let me teach you how to use it well!" He yelled.

Femi's vision was suddenly filled with multiple bullets that he wondered when Gabriel even shot. To dodge, Femi entered the [Lagged Planes].

His senses perceived the bullets and Gabriel's Location.

"Those aren't bullets…" He thought, discerning the shape of the bullets. He added as he formed an ideal path to follow. "This is..,fun?"

Exhausting the period he could use the [Lagged Planes], the world moved at its usual speed.

Femi did a sudden knee slide to avoid the 'bullets'. After they passed by him, he did a front roll to close the distance between him and Gabriel.

But he couldn't move closer as Gabriel brought another chair down on Femi, making him create distance from Gabriel again.

The charade continued. Femi ran about dodging Gabriel's bullet and tried closing in, but the moment he was within a certain range, either a chair descended on Femi or another crazy amount of bullets flew towards Femi

Femi was exhausted but he figured out that Gabriel was trying to test him.

Gabriel has shown that he had the ability to instantly take down Femi, yet he didn't make any attempts to harm Femi with punches or kicks. He only moved whenever he wanted to take a chair to hurl at Femi making Femi believe something was up.

Gabriel, as if having an infinite amount of bullets in his gun, shot at Femi again.

Femi dodged like he had been doing while also closing distance.

Moments before he entered Gabriel's range, Femi did an unexpected thing. He approximated the path of the bullet, but instead of avoiding it, he ran straight following the bullet's path at full speed.

The bullet passed through his left shoulders, leaving a tiny hole there. Femi's direct confrontation had left Gabriel yelling, "That's it! That's it!"

Femi also smiled underneath the mask which was full of hot air from his uncontrolled breathing.

He dashed straight at Gabriel, stretching his sword to hit the gun Gabriel was pointing, redirecting the gun's direction somewhere else.

Before Gabriel raised his other hand, Femi closed in,using his left unarmed hand to put the hand back down by holding the wrist.

Now, Femi stood close to Gabriel, his right hand had Negraazul pointing down, while the other held Gabriel's wrist.

The rope from the Arena was still tied to that wrist. Well, it was… because Femi just cut it off.

"I won." Femi said, his voice weak but excited.

"You won the moment the bullet entered you! You're a crazy one!" Gabriel cheered. He didn't hide his amusement, his brows were raised and his now green eyes were shaking.

"Gabriel, join my crew." Femi suggested.

"I haven't seen an individual like you ever!" Gabriel replied. He lost track of all his words and thoughts. His green eyes shone bright as ever as he also grabbed Femi's wrist and shook, "I'll tag along! Take care of me!"

Femi's experienced uncontrollable happiness. As he fainted in Gabriel's hands, he thought, 'I'm one step closer to being human.'
