The 7 year War

24th of the 7th month, 5954 CE. 0584 SE.

Obervikk, Northeast Norwich region.

As the lights soon would break out from the clouds above the big city of Obervikk. The big and famous port city northeast of the western continent. The crowds of the city started to gather up from streets to streets, squares to squares and districts to districts. The mass of xeno-species along with Sertian humanists started to march on the streets. There were no signs of vehicles or traffic anywhere. Almost thirty thousand people began to move onto the White knight's bridge or known by the locals as Elkaheitker govos using the Lovgok road.

As the light started to shine, the people of Obervikk joined the crowd which was gathering people at the nearby square. When the government received words, the Pripnivko Polikke headquarters were worried. The planned protesters headed to the town hall, peacefully protest the governor to stop the xenophobic idea and actions that they and the Norwich government accepted. They demanded the governors of the puppet state to push for the reform their government and to have the former prime minister of their old independent nation to take control of the government. Their laws did not fully defend the xeno-species but instead, bend towards xenophobic.

Limiting rights and tend to give hateful speeches to the xeno-species, whether they are businessmen or refugees.

After the shooting of sixteen xeno-species in the Vilkeken, which is the nearby region's capital and the countless violations of the treaties between three space races. Many Sertian pacifists push for peaceful protests across the country. Obervikk civilians seek the equality to be shared equally just like in the times it did. The northeast region used to be a country called Volkissi and the xeno-species used to live in the warm and welcoming nation before the war which caused the partial annexation and the installation of the puppet sub-government. The region is more of a puppet state. After being rejected by the high governors, the unsatisfied crowd which has grown up to the size of two hundred thousand people by then began to pressure the government. The Pripnivko Polikke which are the armed police force of the puppet state guarding the town hall was in a tense situation. Out of the grim atmosphere, a nervous officer fired his rifle.

Many decades ago the Sertian, a canine-like anthropomorphic mammal began seeking the stars and explore the galaxy beyond one could imagine. The constant endless cycles of war between tribes and nations broke the race apart because of the ignorance and selfishness in each of the government. All would change when Kanzellena vohn Mortern and her troops destroy and unite the nations together. "There will be no war…" she said. "...but the peaceful time that we could use to understand each other more…" but the unification of the eastern Sertians into modern Brandennia empire as we know would spark another one, the last and the biggest war between two great empires. The war that escalated from cold war between two great powers, born from the ignorance efforts put into the work of understandable but logicless reasons. The war that will be fought not by great weapons and scientific spaceships but the clash between ground force. The seven years war between the Brandennia empire and the Norwich empire.

The Brandenn empire or Brandennia empire is ruled by the beloved empress Kanzellena vohn Mortern. Although it is an empire with the rightful empress. Is more complicated. "Such power is given to all the people, but the smarter ones and those who know how to rule a country should have more power." with such government as this one. Their government promises to bring development and great living condition to the people. Brandenn government is divided into three parts: monarchs, orders, governors. The monarchs are the real ruler of the land, their power in the government is unlimited but they mostly will leave such minor businesses to the lower governments. The orders are responsible for looking over and taking care of the ministers and the governors across the land and space. From intergalactic colonies to regions. They're picked personally by the monarch and are the most trustable in the government with each individual packed with different skills. Hence the real governors are the order. They are not elected by the people, they do not vote for the result, they speak with reasons.

From infrastructures to developments to town buildings. The orders are responsible. Lastly, the government, just like other nations. Brandenn's government are separated into ministries and regions.

Each minister moderates each ministry or region under the orders' moderation and there are a lot of ministries, from providing electronic and water for low cost to the cheap healthcare system and worker's financial support. Every civilian has their chances to become a member of the government.

Region ministers and city mayors are elected by people but for the ministries and the order, rank is earned through skill and work. The easier way for such civilian to gain rank and place in the government would be by going through military service.

The nature of Sertians are that they are militaristic, scientific enthusiastic, their biological bodies are born to perform such mobility and maneuver in hunting and so the military has become a part of their life along with scientific, diplomatic and economical traits. In Brandenn's case, it's military for "peace".

The Norwich empire once was considered the greatest power in the Sertian world.
