Chapter 10: Her Father's daughter

Since that day, Rose never came back. Fredrick went to her father's house but she wasn't just there again. No one knew her whereabouts.

Fredrick invited a psychiatrist to his house and explained the situation of things but the psychiatrist insisted on seeing Roselyn. An investigation was carried out in search of Roselyn.

"Dad. So I will never see mum again?"

"Not true Beauty, mum just went to settle some things."

A knock was heard on the door, it was investigator Nike.

"We have some good and worrying news Sir." He said calmly as Fredrick sat up on his chair, placing one arm on Beauty who was on her Father's lap and looking hopelessly into Nike's eyes.

"We found your wife sir. Mrs Luna Roselyn."

"Then?" He asked, scared of facing the bad news.

"She seem to be at late Miss Kal Washington's grave. Seems like she has been there for days."

"So what did you do about it?"

"We convinced her to come with us into our van which she did and now she is with the psychiatrist but won't say anything other than she doesn't want to see FRED."

"I will be there in some minutes. Leave me the address Nike."

"Daddy can I come with you?"

"Oh sure Beauty as long as you allow your nanny bathe you."

"Oh I will. I will."

Fredrick and Beauty hurried into the ward she was kept. Fredrick stood at the window for some time, wondering how she would react seeing him. Beauty ran to Rose, both arms widely opened as they embraced each other.

"Where is your daddy?" Rose asked excitedly as she stroked Beauty's black hair softly.

"He is on his way here."

"Tell him I love him Beauty. Can you do it for mummy?" Beauty nodded. "Good girl."

Cuddle showed up from behind Fredrick who peeped at Beauty and Roselyn.

"Go in Fred." He assured him calmly.

"I can't. She doesn't want me."

"She does but something is wrong."

Fredrick breathed in and stepped into the ward with a big smile on his face.

"Daddy..." Beauty shouted in excitement as Rose face shrieked with anger.

"Stay away from me!!" She shouted then she began to throw stuffs at Fredrick as Cuddle and some inspectors rushed in at Fredrick's safety.

"I thought you said you love Fred and married him, you bare a child for him and slept with him again that night?" Asked the psychiatrist.

"That was a mistake. My mistake." She replied as she bowed her head.

"What is happening inside of you. Love or pain?"

"Love. I love Fred so much but I can't stand him. I can't stand his cute green eyes, his pure black hair, his many stature." She smiled as she said this.

"So why stone him? Why shout at him?"

"He said everything we had was a mistake! I still want my divorce!" She shouted.

"But you are too obsessed with him."

"Maybe." She blushed and sounded timid.

"Fred wants to fix things. He wants to fix what he said was a mistake. Please let him."

"No!"

"Why?"

"Because there is no time for that! He has to divorce me now before it's too late and I won't recover from it."

"Too late, how?"

"You know!" She sounded alarmed. "Well everyone I always fight with dies. I lost Kal after the fight."

"Are you afraid Fred might die?" She shrugged. "Tell me how scared you are exactly."

"Well, extremely. I have seen dead bodies alot. How lifeless, how empty and how ugly they are." She turned to look at the psychiatrist in his eyes. "My handsome Fredrick will become ugly. I love him but I can't watch him die, since we had an argument, he will die soon."

"What makes you sure he will die like that."

"Kal died the same." She said with a plain face.

Meanwhile, Fredrick had listened to all the conversations and didn't blame Rose for anything but blamed the war.

"What are you going to do now?" Asked Cuddle.

"Keep Beauty away from her until she recovers."

Years later, Roselyn hadn't recovered and Beauty was just thirteen years old. It was her birthday and her dad gave her her first diary.

"Dear diary, it's been 9years now and I haven't seen mum. Dad separated me from her because they got divorced. I won't forgive him."
