The Small World We Live In

"I, Kim Ye Jin finally got her own apartment after all these torturing years of labor work," she happily announced. Starting her own mini-tour around her apartment, "APPLAUSE, APPLAUSE. Featuring two bedrooms with one bathroom and a BALCONY!!" Bragging her achievement to the stuffed animals that were lying on the floor. "Don't you like your new home? Yeah? Mom too". Her body slowly began to give up. Laying on the ground becoming one with the floor, she slowly comes back to her senses, "I must be insane, talking to stuffed animals."

Glancing over at the clock, "4:55. I'm rather fast in this unpacking thing, only a few more boxes to go."Making eye contact with the stuffed animals again. "Mommy did all that by herself," stretching her words out, "So independent." Just then as she was taking a breather, a notification rang from the sofa, far out of her reach. Ye Jin saw an opportunity to practice a yoga pose, her best friend, So Hee taught her last week, 'The Chakrasana'.

Still laying on the floor, she bent her knees with her feet hip-width apart on the ground. Placing her hands behind her shoulders. Lifting her entire body off the floor and hanging her head gently. Setting her eyes on the sofa, she slowly began walking in that pose.

In the dark, murk room the sound panting, becomes louder and louder, lip pale white, dark circles under the eyes, and a strong stench smell coming off her as she walked towards the sofa, "...al..most..there, ..hehe..closer...almost..hee..got you..now."

Ye Jin lifted her head, at the same time a crow landed on her balcony made eye contact with her. She exhaustively smiled at the crow who flew away with a trembling "CaW..cA..w".

'I'll be at your place in a half hour. Bought soju with me, be my buddy tonight?' The message from So Hee made Ye Jin look back at the clock again. "I wasted 15 minutes!! Ugh, would you smell yourself, Ye Jin? SHOWER!—" Grabbing the first clothes she saw and ran to the bathroom.

So Hee came by with the soju she promised. Ye Jin orders take outs while listening to So Hee complaints. "Can you believe this? He hasn't called or replied back yet". Her voice began to fade-away as Ye Jin's attention was caught by something orangish-white moving around her balcony.

She went to the kitchen carefully choosing her weapon, "l choose you, frying pan" practicing her swaying with it. She charged through the balcony, "Come out!"Pointing at the moving object, "You have been caught??.. cat?"
