Prologue

The sky was dark, shadowing the grounds with great stormy clouds, raging against the world with natural tempests.

"He could never tire of this scene, this destruction even after the many chaos cycles he had lived through," thought Zhao Jundu. He was here to rest after the boredom of travelling through the infinite void got to him. After all, unless he attained a deeper understanding in the Dao of Space or Light, he would have to rely on his natural speed, which seemed fast to lower realms but was actually quite slow. He sighed, "It was not as if it acutally mattered as he was an eternal emperor meaning that he had infinite time but it still got boring," he thought.

Spreading his divine sense across this backward planet, he was surprised to get strange readings of energy. Going through the mortal energy barriers, he went through the minds of the people in the house and was surprised. He wasn't surprised by anything these cycles. After all he had battled against the Sithe with their strange machines as well as travelling through part of the void which had many strange beasts and long abandoned outposts that were built aeons ago but this strange energy, no magic, which could change reality with just thoughts had been given to these mortals. Supposing they could cultivate to a high enough level, they could use more of this magic and surpass tiers on the same cultivation realm. This planet is a gem and by training the most powerful of these wizards or witches, I could rule my own palace within the void after surpassing master. Excited, he compared the amount of magic in each of wizards and witches until he found the ones with the most potential. Using his lower mastery of the Dao of Space to open portals to their locations, he used his spiritual energy to pull them through in front of him.

Seconds later he got an unconscious 12 year old boy and unconscious 15 year old girl. The boy had black hair with green eyes and a lightning bolt scar on his forehead which had a soul fragment of the girl with him. The girl was even more of an enigma, she had raven black hair with blue eyes but she had split her soul. No, he couldn't have any of his apprentices not reach their full potential by not having their full souls. Spreading his divine sense around, he found a locket, cup, as well as more pieces of her soul fragmented through death. He easily brought back those mortal soul fragments and fused them with her body with the soul in her body as he would rather have the main personality of the girl to be a 15 years old soul than the 70 year old soul fragments changing the personality of his future apprentice as it would make teaching harder.

Satisfied that everything was done, he teleported them and himself inside his personal mansion he had got from a wealthy enemy. He put them both inside one of the many bedrooms and waited for them to wake up as it was better for them to get used to their surroundings before explaining.
