Chapter 74. The Truth about Her
Before Mrs.Varvara becomes a headmaid, she was a very poor woman.
She becomes a beggar to find money.
And sometimes, she steals a food to eat.
Until one day, a woman looks on her.
Varvara is starving and surrounded by flies, because of her awful smell.
The woman feels pity of her, so then she goes towards her and this woman gives her a hand.
Varvara gladly accepts her help.
Since then, her life becomes completely changed.
The woman's name is Alina Demitrius Davonsky.
She takes her into her house.
She lives with her beloved husband and her two little children (a son and a daughter).
When Varvara met Alina's beloved husband for the first time, she was charmed by his looks.
Alina's husband is truly good-looking.
His name is Matvey Demitrius Davonsky
They feel pity of her, so then they decided to let her stay and become a part of their family.
Alina and Matvey are truly kind, they consider Varvara like their own family.
Their children also consider her like their big sister.
They live happily together.
But what they don't know is that Varvara has a feeling towards with Matvey.
As time flows, her feelings towards Matvey changed from admiration to love.
After for a long time, Varvara just realizes that her feelings towards him is love.
She knew that this is wrong, so she tries to forget about her feelings.
But the problem is everytime when she tries to forget about her feelings, she becomes more remember of her feelings.
And she can't stop dreaming about him.
She holds her feelings for a very long time, until she can't hold it again.
So then, she decided to confess her feelings towards him.
When both of them are alone, Varvara finally confessed her feelings towards Matvey.
But Matvey just smiles and says, "Varvara, I only love you as one of my family, no more no less, I'm sorry, but I have to reject your love. I only love Alina in that way."
Since then, she remember those words.
The words of "I only love Alina in that way" keeps on ringing in her ears.
She cries every night until one night she becomes mad and finally, she finds a solution to this, which is to kill Alina.
She plans to kill Alina, so she could own Matvey for herself.
So when Alina is cooking, Varvara takes a knife and stabs her from the back.
And finally Alina is down on the floor.
All her blood spreads out the floor.
Matvey witnessed that from the window.
Varvara surprised and as she looks back, the son and the daughter also witnessed the kill.
Varvara holds the knife and says, "You see it, hah?
Matvey screams, "CHILDREN, RUN!!"
After that, the son and daughter runs quickly towards the exit door.
Varvara chases them by holding the knife.
Varvara says, "I should leave no witnesses."
The children opens the door and keeps on running.
When Varvara runs to go towards the exit door, Matvey suddenly appears on the exit door to stop her.
Varvara surprised and she unpurposely stabs Matvey.
Matvey says, "Varvara, why did you do this?"
Then, Matvey gets down on the ground and died.
Varvara surprised and she lets go the knife from her hand and screams, "NO!!!!!"
Meanwhile, the two children succeed to escape.
After the kill, Varvara hides Matvey and Alina's corpse and escapes the house.
Since then, Varvara has nothing in life and so she decided to find a job to live for herself.
Until she sees the newspaper that the Grosvenor family are looking for young women to be the maid of their mansion.
So then, she volunteered herself to be their maid.
After she got accepted, she works hard on that job for a long time.
Until finally, she got promoted to be a headmaid who become an good example towards all the maids in the mansion.
THEN BACK TO THE PRESENT DAY
After Dmitri finished telling the true past of Mrs.Varvara, he says, "She might be a good example towards the maids, but she becomes a bad example towards those two children."
Sir.Igor says, "What?, no it can't be, she's not like that."
Then Dmitri says, "She is a killer and because of her, I also become the same as her, A KILLER."
After that, Sir.Igor asks, "So you are?"
Dmitri replies, "Yes, its true, I am one of the children of Alina and Matvey Demitrius Davonsky, AND MY NAME IS DMITRI DEMITRIUS DAVONSKY!!!!!"
Sir.Igor then asks, "How about the other one, your sister?"
Dmitri replies, "She's in a safe place."
Sir.Igor says, "Thank Goodness, so you become an assassin to kill Mrs.Varvara to avenge your parents."
Dmitri nods and replies, "True."
Sir.Igor then replies, "Alright, I understand."
Dmitri then says, "After me and my sister escaped, I met Lord Mikhail and Lady Lyudmilla, they say that they are building an organization to train people into a professional assassin and they offered me to become one. I accept their offer and they promised to keep my sister safe. Since then, I trained hard and I finally become a worthy assassin to eliminate a target. And suddenly one day, Lord Mikhail gave me a mission to disguise as a servant in this mansion. And I was surprised that the killer who killed my parents, the person that I most wanted to kill, the target whose become my goal of my hard training is the headmaid of this mansion, what a coincidence. Well, you just can't escape from your past, do you?"
Sir.Igor replies, "It is true, no one could escape from their past."
Then General Gregory says, "Igor, stop listening to him!!"
After that, Dmitri asks towards Sir.Igor, "So Sir.Igor, now you know my reason why I did this and now Lord Nikolas gives us a way to a brighter future for our nation. And the reason I follow him is because he helped me and he promises that he will make our nation where everyone could be happy, where me and my sister could live in peace like the time when my parents were still alive. So Sir.Igor, do you like to join us?"
General Gregory surprised and says towards Sir.Igor, he says,
"Igor, don't listen to him!!"
Sir.Igor stays quiet.
WHAT WILL SIR.IGOR RESPOND??
