After all, the merchants were rather important to keep the economic flow during this period when they were preparing for war.

With that said, Alaric decided to make some plans just in case the merchants left anyways. After discussion with every higher-up possible, he concluded that expansion was the best way to handle things.

'With expansion, we can increase the population, bring in more business owners, and find more room for government projects,' Alaric noted.
