Chapter 9-Bonnie's anger

Doctor Roger,the head doctor stood at a corner and watch Wolfariane angrily. He hated the fact that his mission was on hold for three months but he hated king's daughter more for interfering with his work when he's almost close.

That bitch of a daughter has to convince her father to let him rest. He was close to achieving his aim.

He had produce a new drug that would make the wolf obedient. He just needed his blood mixed with urine to make the final mixture.

If she didn't interfere the wolf would have been his toy and slave. That way he would get to dethroned the king and take over the kingdom.

"I am the righful king. If that beast becomes mine ,I'll use it to kill anyone who doesn't accept me as a king." He snarled.

He stayed longer looking at Wolfariane in disgust, he isn't aware of his presence. He would have perceive him but he isn't close to where he was kept .

After thinking of different ways to continue his experiments. He thought that best thing to do is to convince the king.

Knowing him to be a greed man he's so sure he could swivel the king's mind.

Having come to that resolution he left to see the king. Unknown to him Bonnie was coming to see Wolfariane. He didn't see her neither did she, they narrowly missed each other.

Bonnie snuck to where Wolfariane was kept, dodging so not to be seen. When she reached,she saw last night plate of food which she brought for him untouched. She felt sad.

How could he do that? She'd be sneaking in day and night bringing food for him yet he won't touch or eat it, instead he would spill it on the floor. That's so cruel of him.

Even if he hate her doesn't he care for his health?She was Enraged. The thought of anything happening to him got her pissed.

Glaring hard at him she began."Listen. I'm fed up with you. You're this callous, indifferent , unfeeling ,heart hardened wolf-human who careless about people's effort or even appreciate it. For the past few weeks I have been shedding blood and water just to see you alright but what 'd you do?"

Wolfarine was taken aback, He was flabbergasted.He stared at her speechless,in shock and surprise.

He was thrown off seeing her so pissed at him. Not knowing what to do or say,he remain calm and watch her.

She remind him of his mother. Right now, she looks like a mother hen whos trying to protect her chicks.

" You trash all my efforts with no care in the world. Do you know what I went through to bring you out of the lab?"

"Wait. Bring me out of the lab? It was her who.... Fuck!"

"Do you know how I fought to stop my father experiments? "

"Experiments? My Precious prick!"

"Do you also know what I go through everyday sneaking food for you? Do you know what my father would do if he find out? Of course,you don't. I took all the risk for you just to see you healthy and strong again. How will you fight for freedom if you aren't healthy, huh!?" She ask, calmly.

He thought it's over but he's wrong. He thought wrong, really.

"You refuse to be my friend. Fine with me. But is food also your enemy? Even If you hate me,must you also hate my efforts or yourself. You are ungrateful. You" He pointed at him."Wolfariane, is very unappreciative.I Will let you be."

She drop another plate for him and took the other one."If I return back and find this plate untouched, I'll wash my hands off you. You die alone since that's what you want." She ranted.

After she was done,she was panting heavily.She had never gotten this angry in her life before. He pushed her-he really did push her and she hated herself too for letting him.

But it all good at least she gets to speak out her mind. She's definitely doing what she said if she returns and find the plate untouch as usual.

With the plate in her hand ,she eye him severally before stomping off.

He was aghast. A great shock has paralyzed him. How can it be? Is that even possible. The same girl he doesn't want to mate turn out to be the shadow saviour he long to see. And to make it worst she cares for him.

But what he saw in her is it genuine. Did she really care from her heart or have an interior motive. Is she really worth trusting. Should he trust her?

It was all because of her ,the cutting of his body was put to hold.

What more is he gonna find out?

He continues to stare at her until she's out of sight."Don't you think you push her to the wall?"His wolf pop out.

"Who the fuck let you out!?"

"I don't remember doing such. You're last thing I expected now."

"Too bad we're one. You can't get ride of me." He tauntingly said causing a snort from him.

"Yeah. I can still." He retorted.

"How? If I'm correct,I dominate most of you."

"Shut up!"

His wolf ingnored him." Look clearly, it only your head that shows you humanly aspect."

"I said shut up!" He yelled. But regretted it when he realize he's inside him.

Luckily,he didn't speak again,which he felt grateful. He don't thing he has enough energy to deal with his nagging half after a ranted mate.

Turning around,he saw the food at the door and snarl."Should I really eat that?"

Doctor Roger came to the king's chamber but he wasn't there. He signaled to a guard. "Where's the king?"

"At the throne room." He responded.

"Thank you. I'll go find him."

The guard nodded and he left to find the king. When he reached the throne door two guards stood guilding the throne.

"I'm here to see the king."

"Does he know you're coming?"

"No. But he won't.. um.."

"Wait here. I'll inform him of your presence."

"Okay."He replied and watch the guard enter and reappeared shortly.

"You may enter."

He went in.

"Greetings my king." He bows.

Inside he was seething. Very furious to be bowing down for him. He shouldn't be bowing down for anyone.

"Greetings Roger. To what do I owe this visit?" The king respond, wondering why he would be there since he didn't invite him. And he also declare there won't be any more experiments carried out on their animal slave until three months elapsed.

The king and Roger are friends right from childhood. So he sees her like a brother and he trust him so much that he does everything he ask him.

He let him advice him in most of the things he do and the king let him take over leadership in his absence.

He sees Roger as the only one worth trusting in the whole kingdoms.

When the king bought Wolfariane,he wanted to keep him as a pet and take care of him as his pet and also as a human with special attention.

But when Roger saw it,he advised him to produce more of it so as to have powerful warriors who will make him have domineer over other kingdom . He said"since he's a powerful creature who can kill so many at a time. With him and more of him on our side no other kingdom can compete with us. We would be so powerful that all other nations would be at our feet."

Hearing his words,the king who's greed for power couldn't resist the urge so he gave in.

"Um.. Roger. You haven't say anything."

"Oh my king."He laugh pretentiously."aren't I your friend? Can't I spend time with you anymore?"

"Of course,you can. I'm just concern. You look troubled."

"Yeah,I am. Just a bit stressed." He lied.

"Stress? Why will you be? I gave you guys some rest,didn't I?"

"You did my good friend...I couldn't help but worry."

"And why is that?"

"I don't think that stopping the experiment is the best thing to do."

"Tell me friend,what's your reason for that?"

"You lie Roger!" Bonnie interrupted him.

After she left Wolfariane,she was still seething and she thought that going to meet her father would calm her a bit.

Her father might be callous and cruel to others but he's still a good father to them. And he does know how to cheer them up especially when down.

She was at the door when she heard voices. One she recognize to be of her father. She presume he had a visitor.

She was about to leave when the second voice registered on her brain. Finding out it was Dr. Roger made her listen.

Knowing him,he's never up to any good. She doesn't know why. She doesn't trust him and her instinct won't stop warning her either.

Something about him isn't clear and she feels as though the man is up to something not good.

Not just because of his experiments on Wolfariane but she can feel that the man should be watch. He isn't to be trusted.He's up to no good.

She got to keep her eyes on him .

After hearing him trying to convince her father on why the experiment should continue she have to barge in to interrupt him.

She knew her father trusted the man so much and would agree on whatever he said.

"Why would you think that stopping the experiment would be harmful?"
