First Ring!

The next day I woke up early for some training. I still remember the [Way of the Dragon] arts so I used it to train my body so I won't be killed on my path to achieve the peak. Looking around I saw Tang San going sitting cross-legged and he seem to be looking at something where the sunrise would be so I turned on my Combat Mode and saw energies or Qi here was entering to Tang San's eyes and then made his eyes look purple.

As the energy rotates in his body, I was surprised that some death energy managed to get inside his body by that energy he absorbed from the sun.

"Tang San." I called for his attention after his routine. "Can you trust me?" I asked him. He replied, "A bit."

I saw him looking at me oddly so I said, "Tang San, I'll ask a favor from you and that is can you--no nevermind. I just remembered something."

"Well, if there's nothing then I'll go ahead." He said that as he ran outside probably to work in smithing. Well, I was actually observing him.

"System, can you copy that technique?"

[Yes I could, and also improve that to a certain level. Confirm?]

"No need, also, is there a training mode in the UI?"

[Yes.]

"Okay, activate it."

After recieving the notification that it was activated, I turned it on and saw many colors. And I guess it was the energies in the atmosphere. Looking around, I picked the energies I needed the most. And that was the five main elements. Fire, Water, Earth, Wind, and Steel.

If ever I got complete mastery over these elements, then my firepower would drastically increase. Fire is explosive strenght, water is flowing, earth is endurance, wind is speed, and steel is penetration.

So with training mode turned on, there was a 3D model of myself as well as a training regimen for my body. There was even shadow fighting where I can fight with my shadow with the same fighting abilities and skills.

Looking bored with nothing else to do, I've gone to a nearby building with the highest platform and trained [Way of the Dragon] there by myself for the whole day and caught up all until 10% only. Pretty good start for a man who trained for only 1 day.

The next day, I woke up on Tang San leaving with a note next to Xiao Wu saying he might be gone for a short while due to training and stuff. Me on the other hand, waited on the school gates. Thinking of what abilities to get, I asked the system what should I get.

[Recommendation : Any abilities suitable to become a control system spirit master. With your spirit being Peach Life Tree, AoE abilities both damage and support should do.]

Thanking the system of his/her suggestion, I looked to see Tang San together with a middle aged man. From what I gathered, he was called Grandmaster because of his theories of cultivation.

"Grandmaster, may I accompany you?" I asked them and he replied saying that he could but if the situation gets out of hand he couldn't gurantee my safety.

"Me being able to enter would be just fine Grandmaster." I looked at Grandmaster and he just continued on walking while also giving lectures to his disciple mamed Tang San.

After a couple of minutes, we have arrived at the gates of spirit hall and needs a token of sorts to enter the Star Dou Forests. After the Grandmaster showed his token, the soldiers opened the gates for us to enter and closed right after we have gone inside.

As soon as we got inside, I turned on my Combat Mode and as my eyes turned scarlet red I looked around in caution.

"No worries around here Jah, there are only 10 year old beasts around here." Grandmaster says that as he continued on and lectured Tang San about everything. Me being an outsider just left some space as I go to the branches and travelled using them as my foothold.

As Tang San was searching for his spirit ring, I was also searching for mine. Using my Radar, every spirit beasts or spirit plants were recorded by the system. And interestin enough, I saw something that was compatible with my own spirit.

Seeing no one around, me as a fellow spirit plant, communicated with the Spirit Plant and agreed about letting it be my first spirit ring. Though the spirit plant was only 420 in age, spirit plants possess instinctual intelligence as soon as it turns 100.

After absorbing the spirit ring, he returned to see that they were sorrounded by wolves. But he just let them be knowing that they can outrun these by themselves but suddenly a green flash got by them and killed one of the wolves.

And then it tried to bite both Grandmaster and Tang San but I was first to act as I used blink and pulled both of them and got to a nearby place where we won't be seen.

"Wake up you two, don't sleep on me alright?" I slapped them lightly to wake them up from their shock. Looking at them like this made me laugh a bit but I held it off.

"Grandmaster, is that suitable for me?" Tang San asks.

"If you believe your teacher, then it is the right one. Poison as well as durable, a perfect combination I must say." Grandmaster says to Tang San.

"Then I've decided, it would be my first spirit ring." He then took out his knife and engaged with the snake.

"You sure about this Grandmaster? You know you may put him to his grave." I asked Grandmaster, with how much he believes his theory and his disciple to put it into place is kind of unbelievable.

"Yes I know about that, but he still chose to believe in me so I believe in him as well." Looking at Tang San as if he was his son, he furrowed his brows as he looks that it was in a stalemate.

"I'll help him get that spirit no problem. Just train him to the best of your abilities." Saying that, I too held a knife and used blink twice. First being I thrust my knife at the snake's two eyes and then the second being a trust also in the tounge as well as going back to my position. It adds a cool factor.

"See, all he needs to do is put the final push into its grave." I told Grandmaster and he was shocked by my own ability, probably thinking, 'He could've killed me instantly without me knowing anything. What a scary kid.'

Telling Tang San to give the final blow, he shot out of his stupor and killed the snake and then the drama by both of them and then Tang san proceding into absorbing the spirit ring.

While Tang San was absorbing the Spirit Ring, Grandmaster asked me what I have done earlier. I just told him that it was all due to my high speed that it might seem I didn't move at all. He stopped asking once I demonstrated the real thing but I still used my blink.

As soon as Tang San was done with absorbing his spirit ring, we turned back to the academy but I was the first one to arrive as I used blink to get the hell out of the place.
