As the sun rose over the castle, the inhabitants of House Silver were awoken by the sound of screams and wails. Silver and Diamond rushed to their mother's chambers, their hearts racing with worry.
They found the Queen of Shadows lying on her bed, her eyes open and staring blankly at the ceiling. Her skin was deathly pale, and a faint scent of poison wafted through the air.
Silver and Diamond gasped in horror as they approached their mother's body. "What's happened?" Silver demanded, his voice shaking.
The Queen's loyal servant, Raven, rushed into the room, his face pale with shock. "I-I-I don't know! I came to attend to her and found her like this!"
Diamond's eyes narrowed. "What about the mysterious liquid?"
Raven's eyes widened in horror. "Oh no, you mean...?"
Silver's eyes blazed with anger. "Who did it?"
The room fell silent as the weight of the question hung in the air. No one knew who could have done such a heinous act. The Queen's death was a shock to everyone, and the suspicion turned to every member of House Silver.
Lord Ravenswood, their father, stormed into the room, his face red with rage. "Who did this?! I'll have them executed on the spot!"
The nobles of House Silver gathered around the Queen's body, their faces somber and worried. Silver and Diamond exchanged a glance, their minds racing with thoughts of betrayal and treachery.
As they stood there, a figure emerged from the shadows - Neon, The Prince Of House Blue.
"I didn't do it," Neon said calmly, his eyes scanning the room. "But I think I know who might have."
The room fell silent as Neon's words hung in the air. Silver and Diamond exchanged a glance, their minds racing with questions.
"What do you mean?" Silver demanded.
Neon smiled coldly. "I mean that someone is playing a game of power and manipulation... and it's not just about killing off nobles."
The room erupted into chaos as everyone began to speculate and accuse one another. Silver and Diamond stood there, their hearts heavy with grief and uncertainty.
As they tried to make sense of it all, they couldn't shake off the feeling that they were just pawns in a much larger game.
"It's Silver himself he killed his own mother according to my mother's instructions. Diamond assisted him. The proof is the liquid that Queen Of Shadows took has colour that doesn't spread of it's users for atleast a day which Silver Has it on his hands."
The room erupted into chaos as Neon's words hung in the air. Lord Ravenswood's eyes narrowed, his face red with rage. "Silver, you're under arrest!"
Silver's eyes widened in shock. "What?! No, Father! I didn't do it!"
But Lord Ravenswood was having none of it. "I saw you arguing with your mother earlier that day. And I saw you sneaking out of the castle with Diamond. You're guilty, Silver!"
The guards moved in to take Silver into custody, but he was too quick. He dodged and weaved, avoiding their grasp. "I didn't do it, Father! You're wrong!"
As the chaos unfolded, Diamond was taken into custody by the guards, accused of being an accomplice to Silver's crime. He protested his innocence, but no one was listening.
Silver made a break for the door, desperate to escape and clear his name. He burst out of the room, leaving the guards and Lord Ravenswood in his wake.
As he ran through the castle corridors, he could hear the shouts and screams of the nobles behind him. He knew he had to get out of there before it was too late.
He finally reached the stables and grabbed a horse, galloping out of the castle grounds as fast as he could.
Meanwhile, back in the castle, Lord Ravenswood was furious with Diamond's arrest. "Take him away! Throw him in a dungeon and throw away the key!"
Diamond's eyes widened in horror as he was dragged away by the guards. "I didn't do it, I swear! I'm innocent!"
As the castle descended into chaos, Neon watched from the shadows, a sad cold smile spreading across his face. He had played his part perfectly as his mother instructed, but he felt a sense of defeat in his victory.
