"I didn't expect the general to die like that... sniffs... I shouldn't have read this book!" Prince Lysander lamented over the fictional character from the novel he just finished.

'Hm, this is not good. I should seek out knowledge about this world instead of immersing myself in these heartbreaking war stories.'

Returning the book to its place, Prince Lysander roamed the entire library, picking up history books about the Kingdom of Clover as he sighed.

'There is nothing of importance here that can aid my survival beyond acquiring new knowledge... even though knowledge is crucial for mental nourishment... *sigh*

Well, everything lies in the future. Perhaps I should jot down some crucial points that may act as warning signs for me and also remind myself that I must be a supportive character, discreetly lingering in the shadows!

Taking the blank notebook (somehow provided there) and a pen, I began to write:

1. Attacked by Lucius's magic.

2. Killed by Kain.

3. Accidentally harmed by Rina.

4. Killed by own magic.

At the fourth point, Prince Lysander stared at it for a moment and decided to leave it as the final point.

'We never know when we might be killed by our own mistakes.'

To remember, I will write down everything I remember about this game. In this episode of Prince Lysander's life as the reincarnator, he is jotting down memories from his past life.

1. The male main character, default name John (Seriously? It seems the game developer is pulling a prank. No offense for every John out there). He is kind to everyone, never harboring ill thoughts towards anything or anyone, enjoys forming friendships, is unafraid to voice his opinions, and is adept at using fire magic—an ideal hero! I can't recall his surname. Nevertheless, what matters most is that I steer clear of all things related to the game characters. If I am ever compelled to befriend them, I will take on the role of a supportive shadow.

2. The primary female character, named Sharon by default, is an average girl who possesses the power of light magic. Her countenance is gentle, and from the way she thinks and speaks... it appears as though she is just an ordinary girl. My interactions with women have been limited, so I lack substantial knowledge about their personalities. She is not a tough girl or a gold digger, so maybe she is a good girl, just like John. It's better for me to accept my fate as a useless second prince to be married off than to befriend them. I must avoid this person!

3. Lysandra, Lucius's fiancée and the girl I recently mentioned would be Sharon's main rival. She is not a romantic interest for John, so I don't know much about her besides the mistake she made by summoning a monster to attack Sharon, resulting in her exile. Given her intense obsession with Lucius, it seems safe to leave her alone.

4. Tyler, John's good friend, may become John's rival if he tries to pursue his crush, a Marquis lady named Yuna.

5. Yuna, Tyler's close friend and John's initial romantic interest target.

6. Lucius, the crown prince of the Clover Kingdom, is Sharon's primary romantic interest.

7. Evelyn, the daughter of the wealthiest Duke in the Clover Kingdom, serves as John's secondary romantic interest.

8. Pierre, a rogue from the Duke's family and also a good friend of Lucius, is Sharon's secondary romantic interest.

9. Theresa, the daughter of the King's Advisor, represents John's third romantic interest.

10. William, the eldest son of the family that controls all trade in the Clover Kingdom and Evelyn's twin brother, is Sharon's third romantic interest.

11. John's final romantic interest is a girl named Dorothy, the daughter of the most powerful pair of sorcerers who leads the magical army of the Clover Kingdom.

12. Sharon's ultimate romantic interest is Gill, a Professor at the Academy.

13. Maou Chan or Maou Kun, the Demon King or Queen, depending on the chosen character.

Although there may be a Demon Queen or Demon King present, it doesn't significantly impact the gameplay, which mainly focuses on the player's daily life. The main objective is to strengthen oneself to pass the magic exam with a perfect score before delving into the dating sim mode, filled with choices, plotlines, and mini-games that are straightforward yet engaging.

The inclusion of Death Valley may not serve a practical purpose, but it likely offers a setting for monsters in the game. While dungeons exist, there is no central plot where the main character joins forces with all romantic interests to combat the Demon Queen/King.

Despite potentially appearing mundane, the premium edition offers delightful content, including some risqué scenes for Prince Lysander to ponder... he-he-he.

Oops, I've lingered here for too long. I should grab this book and tidy up before heading out. Or that's what Prince Lysander pondered as he was organizing his books when he stumbled upon the sequel to the novel he had previously read.

"W-what?! They released the sequel?!"

Unaware of the time passing, Prince Lysander had spent the entire day in the library, at least until Rina sought him out upon spotting Lucius's servant heading towards the library.

Collecting all his books and notes, Prince Lysander swiftly returned to his room with Rina, carefully and swiftly. Upon entering his room, Prince Lysander settled back into reading his book before taking a break for a bath and dinner.

Why should he worry about the game characters being two years older?

It's unlikely they will be in the same year as him when the game event begins.

As he read, Prince Lysander found himself growing calmer and more hopeful.

Would his life really unfold as smoothly and peacefully as he envisioned, or was there more to come?
