95 94. The Great War 5

"YOU SHALL NOT PASS!"-Jon

Jon say it while stabbing his sword that is clad in lightning. After he stab it, the lightning stream spread around the area where he stand. Many marines that try to follow Luffy or attack them, got electrocuted and faint.

Jon imitate Gandalf from Lord of The Ring and he change Gandalf's magic using Chidori Stream. When he saw Luffy run on the stair, he remember when Frodo passed the bridge. So he remember Gandalf's scene too, and it's a cool scene, so he want to try it.

Jon stay at the bottom section of the stair and he prepare many senbons with paper bombs tied to them. Jon keep throwing them at the marines that come closer to the stair. He also see some marines from far away try to shoot, so he throw his senbons.

Suddenly Jon see a loud crashing sound from behind him. He look at it and see Garp has come to stop Luffy. Jon is worried because Luffy can't defeat Garp, but he know Garp won't kill Luffy. Even so, Luffy need to defeat Garp if he want to save Ace.

"GRANDPA, PLEASE MOVE FROM THERE!"-Luffy

"I WON'T, IF YOU WANT TO SAVE ACE, YOU NEED TO DEFEAT ME! LUFFY, YOU'RE MY ENEMY NOW."-Garp

Luffy use his gear 2nd and Garp also prepare his fist. Luffy jump at Garp and send a punch to him. Garp also throw a punch at Luffy, but suddenly he hesitate and stop his punch. Luffy punch Garp on the face and send Garp fall from the stair and crashed to the ground.

"Sigh, it must be a very hard choice for you old man. At the end of the day, you still love your family, even if you become enemies."-Jon

Jon focus on his task again and guard the stair. He see many marines come and want to go up the stair. He have an idea and call Iva and Inazuma to hide behind him. Jon make 5 clones and they make hand seals.

"Katon:Great Fire Annihilation"-Jon & 2 clone

"Fuuton: Great Breakthrough"-3 clones

The fire and wind ninjutsus are made next to each other. Wind will make the fire bigger, so now the fire become very big and many marines are defeated, and the rest retreated. Jon decide to use ninjutsu that cost high chakra because he didn't need to save his chakra anymore now.

"Excellent ninja-boy, your ninjutsus are very strong. Why don't you use big attack like this since earlier?"-Iva

"It cost high amount of energy, i need to preserve my energy before. Also, these ninjutsus will become more effective in a crowded place."-Jon

Jon didn't use ninjutsus before, not only because it will deplete his chakra faster, but also not effective to use while they need to move fast. Ninjutsus will take time to made, so he choose a ninjutsu that can be used while he move. That's why he choose lightning chakra mode.

He prefer to use chakra flow to augment his attack and move, rather than time consuming ninjutsu. If he is in a duel, then he will use many ninjutsus. But he is in a race with time to save Ace. His goal is not to win the battle, but to win the war. Beside, he is here to protect Luffy from doing reckless things. People tend to do something reckless if their family is involved.

"So that's how it is. But why don't you make clones before? Wouldn't it make your fight easier?"-Iva

"I made it before, but they move separately. They're tasked to do something that can halt Ace's execution, but the plan is failed. Sengoku have tried 2 times to execute Ace now."-Jon

"What is that plan of yours?"-Iva

"Resuming the broadcast of this war and make a narration that can harm marine and WG's reputation."-Jon

"WHAATTT?!"-Iva

"I thought they will try to stop the broadcast first before resuming the execution. So either the video didn't get broadcasted, or the marines ignore it."-Jon

Iva ask Jon to explain this later when they have finished with this war. Jon agree then he look at Luffy that has arrived in front of Ace. Everyone is elated by this, Luffy has finally reach Ace. Jon is worried that Sengoku will attack Luffy, and Luffy didn't even look at Sengoku at all and just focus on Ace.

"Dammit Luffy, there is an enemy beside you, be more careful!"-Jon have meme Jackie Chan face

Jon prepare to move and help Luffy, but it seem Sengoku has become senile too. He didn't even move when Luffy talk with Ace. But then he is surprised seeing Luffy have Ace's seastone handcuff key.

"Eh? This old geezer really has become senile."-Jon

Suddenly a yellow light flashed and the key in Luffy's hand is broken. Kizaru shoot from below the platform and stop Luffy's attack easily. Jon run to help Luffy, but then he see a guard wake up and surprises to see Mr.3 is there.

Suddenly Sengoku turn into a big golden Buddha and attack Luffy when Jon just start to run, but Mr.3 make a ball from candle to protect them. Luffy become a balloon and protect the ball from Sengoku's attack. The ball and Luffy fall from the platform because of the impact from Sengoku's attack.

Jon jump down and run to their landing site. He will open the handcuff with his ninja skil. But then, the falling ball, suddenly engulfed in a big fire. Mr.3 has made a key replica to open Ace's hand cuff. The corner of Jon's mouth is twitching, but he is relief they succeed.

The marines try to shoot Luffy, Ace and Mr.3, but their bullets didn't work. The bullets just passed through Ace's fire body and it can't injure Luffy's rubber body. Jon look at Mr.3 that lay there on the ground after falling and sigh.

The pirates are cheering at Luffy's succeed, while the marines are angry. Sengoku also grumble about his carelessness that allowed it happen right in front of his face. Whitebeard command his crew to make a path for Luffy and Ace.

Luffy and Ace run through the path, but they left the poor Mr.3 behind. The marines attempt to attack Mr.3, but Jon flickered and take him away. He throw Mr.3 to Iva's hair and Inazuma catch him.

"Let's go Iva, Inazuma!"-Jon

"Alright, let's follow Straw Hat-boy and Ace-boy."-Iva

"Ah, now that i think about it, where is Bon-chan? I haven't see him since we fall from the sky."-Jon

"He is here."-Inazuma

Inazuma take out Bon-chan from Iva's hair. It seem he is very injured and can't move anymore. He is not a monster like Luffy that can move again after what he got through before.

Jon almost forgot about him, but as long as he is fine, then it's alright. Jon and Iva immediately run behind Ace and Luffy. Many marines try to stop them, but the both of them can handle it easily. Ace is stronger than Jon & Luffy combined right now, so he can easily plow through the marines.

Ace and Luffy also seem to have good teamwork. Growing up together really make them know each other very well. Jon just need to watch their back, and he also take this chance to learn Ace's fire techniques. He can replicate them in the future.

'Fire element is one of the basic elements. So i can replicate it when i have more knowledge.'-Jon

So far, Jon only met with 3 devil fruit user that use basic elements. Ace's fire, Crocodile's sand, and Enel's lightning. The sand is the same as earth, so he need to learn Tsunagakure's ninjutsu before he try to replicate Crocodile's. He haven't met wind, water or normal earth elements user, but it's okay. Even he can't replicate Ace's fire yet.

'The other devil fruit is more like Kekkei Genkai and i don't know if i can make those elements in the future. Nonono, focus! We need to leave this place fast. They will do anything to get Ace back.'-Jon

Jon stop thinking about this and focus on escaping. Suddenly, Aokiji appear in front of their path, and he attack with an enormous ice attack shaped like a bird. Ace also send a big fire attack toward the ice bird. The impact is very big and steam spread from the clash.

"Such strong power of fire. Dammit, i will create an even more powerfull fire attack."-Jon grip his hand

"IT'S NOT THE TIME TO BE COMPETITIVE! Good grief, young people nowadays."-Iva

Then suddenly, a ship come through the open wall, surprising everyone. It keep moving toward the center of plaza. The ones on that ship is Squard's and his crews. They want to sacrifice themselves so the others can escape. It's their way to apologize for Squard's mistake earlier.

But Whitebeard have different thought, he stop the ship with one hand. Really a crazy geezer, still have that power even with his current condition. Jon really still have a very long way to go before reaching that level.

"You stupid son, your stab wound did nothing to me. I am in the end of my lifespan anyway, gurarara. LISTEN WHITEBEARD PIRATES! I'M ABOUT TO GIVE YOU MY FINAL CAPTAIN'S ORDER."-Whitebeard

All of Whitebeard crews are surprised and try to persuade him to leave with them. But he didn't change his mind, he is prepared to die in this place. He want to settle everything with Marines.

'Did he want to die in a battlefield like a warrior and save his children, rather than die on his bed like a sickly person?'-Jon

Jon have a serious look on his face. He never really know about being a warrior or a warrior's pride. Jon is never a warrior and hold a warrior's honor or pride, he will do anything, even a dirty trick to win. His priority is always to make his loved ones safe. To hell with honor & pride if it can kill his family & friends.

But he too, will do the same for his loved ones. That's why he respect Whitebeard very much now. Altough he didn't really know Whitebeard, but his action now is worth his respect. So Jon take off his hat and put it in front of his chest to Whitebeard's direction.

Whitebeard then send a quake toward Marineford's direction. It make a big damage to the humans and buildings there. His crew still persuade him to leave with them, but he yell at them to leave.

The Marineford start to crumble, and marines try to stop Whitebeard. They open fire at him, but Whitebeard keep attacking with his bisento and devil fruit power. The pirates reluctantly leave toward their ship. It is a Captain's order, so they can't defy it, and it is a final order, so it's very important.

Jon look around at Whitebeard and the pirates that leave. He ponder to himself if Luffy make the same order in the future, will he follow it? It's simple, if Luffy is in his end of lifespan, then Jon will grant his wish. But if he's still fine and have long future, Jon will not follow the order even if everyone will hate him and he need to leave the crew. Jon always do what he think is right, and so far, he's agree with Luffy.

Jon stop his thinking and he tell Luffy it's time to leave. Luffy call Ace but Ace stop, he kneel and bow to Whitebeard for the last time. Whitebeard ask Ace if he's a good father, which Ace answer with a big 'YES'. So Whitebeard become happy and continue his rampage.

Then they leave too with the others, but then Akainu send a huge magma fist and call them coward for leaving Whitebeard. He also said Whitebeard is nothing but a failure of the past era. It's very clear that Akainu just provoking them with bullshittery, but Ace stop and got angry at Akainu.

"TAKE BACK WHAT YOU SAID!"-Ace
