Capitulation

Since most of their clothes were torn apart, the church kindly gave the foreign soldiers some clothing. Nothing they could wear in front of the monster, after being warned.

One day walking did put a toll on the team. The trees became scarce and the size of the shadows was neigh-immeasurable when the sun reached its highest.

Only the wolves wouldn't complain about the dry weather and the sun that colored the soldier's skin in shades of red. Rowan was the most affected by their environment but refrained from complaining about it. still he needed to kill time to avoid thinking about his suffering toes.

"Man, I've never walked this much in so less time, this hike is killing me." He said to Harlow.

"Now that we're down the slope, we can thank the flat land here. There are a few hills indeed but our road seems to cut though, thankfully."

Marks, one finger up, asked.

"Can't we all ride the big wolf to get to Madrid faster?"
