Hyuga affair

Hiashi's father, the previous clan leader stared at Hiashi for a while silently and later spoke to elders "first of all, everyone must know the child Hiashi brought today isn't just Hyuga. But also Half Uchiha". One of the elders who was surprised asked: "what did you say?".

Hiashi then spoke, "his birth mother is the deceased Emiya Uchiha, Fugaku's sister. We had to broke up a year ago because I'm a Hyuga clan head and she's an Uchiha clan head's sister".

One elder spoke, "yeah, we knew about it". Another one asked "but according to historical records, isn't it impossible for a child to be born to Hyuga and Uchiha? even with Senju is impossible as the two strong bloodlines flowing inside fight against each other for domination.

The baby will die before it was even born. We've seen the number of cases before and yet, this child was born with byakugan". Another one spoke lazily while yawning "Nothing is certain. Moreover, you can see it clearly that this boy was born with Hyuga bloodline. Why is there a huge discussion for a trivial matter?".

Hiashi's father replied, "it's because a half Uchiha like him can't become the heir to the clan". Hiashi spoke loudly in protest "father, why does it matter?. See, he was already born with the Byakugan. He has no chance of awakening Sharingan in the future".

Hiashi's father sternly replied "no matter what you say, this is important for Hyuga clan dignity. No matter what, he will forever be a half Hyuga and half Uchiha. That won't change, his only fate is to be branded with cursed seal and serve the main family who will be born from Eitsu. He will serve them just like how your brother serves you now".

Hiashi shouted "father, you can't do such injustice to my son". But his father replied with an indifference "if you want him to be part of Hyuga clan, he has to follow the rules".

Then, one elder spoke "what if the child who will be born a female? what then?". Hiashi's father thought for a while and replied, "then, Hiashi will serve as the clan head until one of her male children is born, until then, she will be termed as clan heiress and this boy can be regarded as the main family member and escapes the cursed fate".

Hiashi's father sighed while looking at the disappointed Hiashi "you better hope that Eitsu's child is a girl". All of them nodded and agreed with his decision. Hiashi looked at those elders and his father "you too all better hope that my next child is a girl or else, I swear I will take my family away from here and will abandon the clan for good. I won't let my son become like my brother".

His father got shocked hearing his words and became enraged "you don't dare to do this". Hiashi walked away from there without replying anything.

In the next three months, Some of the main family members who don't know everything once tried to poison him as he was a threat to their lady Eitsu's child. Once they even tried to kill him by hiring an assassin but due to the loyal protective guards, his life was saved.

After two and a half months, when they hear its a girl who was born, those people instantly felt regret for their actions as their hopes were dashed. It also made the elders, as well as Hiashi, breathe in relief.

Hinata Hyuga from the moment she was born, she cried continuously after opening her eyes, Eitsu who had difficult labour didn't have enough energy to ease her up. While Hiashi and his father tried but those two stern-looking men made her cry even harder.

They put her into the crib to make her sleep in peace, but she wasn't stopping crying at all. Just then, little Shu who was on the floor crawling here and there reached Hiashi and raised his arms gesturing him to pick him up.

Hiashi picked up Shuichi and took him a bit close to her. "Look Shuichi, this is your little sister". little shu began to gesture something with his hands while his Grandpa trying to ease up Hinata.

Hiashi understood that he wants to touch her. He took him even closer to her. When he got close enough, Little shu put his palm on her palm. She instinctively grabbed his index finger with her small hand and surprisingly her crying stopped while looking into his eyes.

Three years have gone by in a blink of an eye.

While there was a war going on between Konoha and Kumo, The carefree three and half-year-old Shuichi was happily chatting with his four-year-old cousin Neji Hyuga who was the son of his uncle Hizashi.

Shuichi, who started to walk at the age of 1, by the time he reached 2, he knows more than 400 words and now at three and half years old, he already finished reading a book completely. Although it's only a guide book which contains Fire country geography, some historical places and their speciality.

He started to speak what he read in the book to Neji who was curiously listening to new things. Then, two identical twins Hiashi and Hizashi walk together while greeting their guests and clan members which made a lot of trouble among them as they don't know who is who.

Upon seeing them, Neji was also confused about who his father is while Shuichi dashed toward them and hugged the one who was on left side "father".

Hizashi who stood on the right beside ruffled his hair "how did you figure it out every time?". Shuichi grinned "It's very simple". The clan members who were surprised earlier stopped doing their work and listened to what he has to say.

He pointed Hiashi "My father always has this stern face. He seldom smiles unless it's me, Hinata or mother while you look like you have the same expression, you slightly smile always with everyone except elders. I'm pretty awesome right, Uncle?".

Hizashi scratched his chin "Uh! yeah". He looked at Hiashi "do I behave like that for real? I never noticed it till now".

Hiashi then coughed once to clear his throat "okay, it's time. I'm going. The ceremony about to start in 10min".

Only Hiashi went inside while Shuichi stayed with Neji and Hizashi. Hizashi looked at Shuichi in pity "Shu, do you know about the ceremony that's going to happen after Hinata's birthday cake cutting?".

Shuichi nodded "father informed me about it 6 months ago. I'm not sad about it at all". Neji asked, "dad, what is cousin talking about?". Hizashi patted him and shook his head. Then, Hiashi, Eitsu and in between of them stood three years old little Hinata who was very shy upon seeing the large crowd gathered. Neji commented "is that lady Hinata? she's cute".

Shuichi nodded "isn't she?". Just then, Hiashi called him "Shu, come here". he looked at Neji "will be right back". Shu went and stood with them while she's about to cut her cake. She picked the knife but her right hand is shaking from nervousness.

Shuichi grabbed her hand. She looked at him and spoke slowly "thank you". After she cut the cake, Shu went with her and Hiashi to introduce her to the guests.

"Shu, you keep talking with Neji. I need something to talk with Hizashi". Shuichi asked him "Father, is it about that seal?". Hiashi was surprised "how did you know about it?". Shuichi replied "a few days ago, I heard Grandpa talking like how Neji also have a chance as there are no heirs. So they must put a seal on him or something".

Hiashi sighed and patted him. After a few minutes, while Hinata is being proclaimed as the heiress by his grandpa, Hiashi and Hizashi with Neji disappeared. A few minutes later, Hinata got suddenly disappeared from the party.

Shuichi first informed Etsui about that, then later when she can't find her, she had asked his Grandpa about it. When they weren't able to find her anywhere, Instantly, a commotion arose in the clan compound. 10 minutes later, Hiashi returned with the fainted Hinata.

Three days later, Kumo demanded Hiashi's body and Hizashi sacrificed himself in place of his brother. After the incident, the rumours began to float around that the head of the Hyuga clan sacrificed his very own twin brother in place of him just because he is from the main family and his brother belongs to branch family.

In the Hyuga clan, distrust between the Main family and branch family began to increase. As some members of the branch family began to act rudely, the main family members began to punish them and it even drew more hatred from the branch family.

Shuichi's life which was going smooth till now changed drastically. People began to answer him rudely even when he was greeting them politely.

One year later, Neji who started to train completely distanced himself from Shuichi as well as from Hiashi. Branch family members began to support Neji while denouncing Hinata as she is just a timid girl. Hyuga clan is in an internal cold war. To solve it, Hiashi's father forced him to make a legitimate male heir but after a year later, Eitsu gave birth to Hanabi and died after a few weeks.

Her death attracted sympathy from many branch family members since she was kind to everyone regardless of their standing. Even though the tensions are still there, but it wasn't to the extent like hatred before.

After her death, Hiashi never smiled to either three of them. At the age of five and a half, Hiashi began to train him strictly as he needs to attend the academy with Hinata one year later.

Soon, one year passed away. Since he was born 2-3 months late, Shuichi missed the chance to study with Neji and had to go with Hinata.

On opening day,

Shuichi dragging his timid sister while excitedly running towards the academy "let's go Hinata".
