One tough girl

The servant stepped aside, backing away as she ushered the man in.but Mr feng's gaze was fixed on the sitting room, and he strode purposefully towards it,his presence commanding attention.

Yun ting sprang from her chair, her face alight with excitement, and rushed towards the man.she halted just a few steps away, her eyes shining with a mix of surprise and delight.

'dad you are here!", grand pa Liang and Liang Chen trailed behind Yun ting as she rushed to greet the imposing figure.

Mr feng's gaze swept across his daughter, his expression stern."Naughty child,do you have any idea how worried I was ? I nearly had a heart attack,do you even know what time it is?"

He turned to Mr Liang, his voice firm,"I hope she didn't bother you,Mr Liang."

He strode towards Yun ting, his long strides eating up the distance.in that moment,he grasped Yun ting's ear,his grip firm.

Yun ting winced in pain,"ouche, father, that hurts",she protested, trying to wriggle free.

Mr feng's face remained unyielding, his eyes flashing with a mix of concern and annoyance, the air was thick with tension as he lectured Yun ting, his voice low and stern.

Liang Chen stepped forward, his head bowed respectfully."master feng, greetings."

Master Feng grunted a brief response, his eyes still fixed on Yun ting.

Yun ting still rubbing her ear, shot her father a sideways glance,Mr Liang chuckled, amused by the exchange.

"Master Liang,I apologize for the late hour visit",Mr feng said,"but this daughter of mine is stubborn,to say the least..."

As he spoke, yun ting mimicked his words with exaggerated gestures, her hands flying through the air like an interpreter.

She contorted her face, mocking her father's serious expression,"bulu bulu mo mo mo...mu mu mu!"she teased, her voice rising in a playful crescendo.

Mr feng's stern mask faltered for a moment,a hint of smile threatening to break through but he quickly regained his composure, clearing his throat to continue the conversation.

"Please,Mr feng, take a seat",Mr Liang offered, gesturing towards the couch.

Mr feng nodded, his expression softening slightly,"thank you,Mr Liang,I apologize for the late hour, but I promise to make up for it next time with a longer visit."

As the two men conversed ,yun ting continued to mimic their words, her antics causing Liang Chen to stifle a giggle.

Master Feng shot Liang Chen a glance, then turned to Yun ting, his eyes narrowing in mock sternness.

Yun ting froze, her hands paused mid gesture.

But when master feng shouted her name,"Yun ting",she couldn't resist one final flourish, she spin around, her back to the room, and mimicked the way her father shouted, exaggerating the gesture for comedic effect.

The room fell silent, with Mr Liang and Liang Chen exchanging amused glances.

Mr feng's voice boomed once more,"Yun ting!",this time,Yun ting took off running, her father hot on her heels, the chase continued until they reached the stairs leading out of the mansion , where Mr feng finally caught up to his daughter.

He scooped her up,his hands wrapping around her waist and lifted her off the ground.

"Dad,I am eleven years old! don't carry me like a baby",Yun ting protested, her voice muttered against her father's chest.

Mr feng apologized,"oh sorry! He set Yun ting down, then crouched low, inviting her to climb into his back,Yun ting didn't hesitate, scrambling onto her father's back with a giggle.

Mr feng stood up,his knees slightly bent to accommodate his daughter's weight and began to walk.despite his middle aged,Mr feng showed no sign of strain, his movements fluid and effortless as he carried his daughter.

Yun ting held tight, her arms wrapped around his neck and her legs locked around his waist, feeling like a queen on her throne.

Mr Liang saw the situation and nodded his head in amusement.

"Yun ting did you weigh a thousand kilograms or what!",Mr feng joked, his voice teasing.

Yun ting playfully hit her father's back ,her voice indignant,"what is that supposed to mean?i thought you were now a level eight, strong enough to carry a mountain."

Their laughter echoed through the night air as they disappeared into the darkness.

Grandpa Liang smiled, stretching his back,"ah,Mr feng and his daughter.....a lively pair indeed."he turned to Liang Chen and said,"you must be tired,go get some rest."

Liang Chen nodded, his voice soft,"uhm .. alright grandpa..... good night.."he walked towards the stairs, his footsteps echoing through the silent hallway.

Meanwhile, grandpa Liang returned to the dining table resuming his dinner with a warm smile.

Liang Chen trudged towards his room exhausted from the day's events,he opened the door, stepped inside and closed it behind him, eager to escape the world ,the weight of his struggles made it a tough day and he couldn't wait to surrender to sleep.

The next morning,

The sun rose over the city casting its golden light on the streets and buildings, the mountains surrounding the city glistened in the morning glow, their peaks reaching for the sky.

As the sun climbed higher, its rays pierced through Liang Chen's window illuminating his face,he tried to shield his eyes but the sun's persistence was relentless, making it impossible for him to continue sleeping.

The window's direct exposure to the sunrise made it a losing battle.

Liang Chen flung off his covers and sat up with a jolt, wincing as the sunlight stabbed at his eyes,he rubbed his face, his movements rough with sleep's remnants.

As he stumbled out of bed,his gaze fell upon the window, and his scowl deepened before he remembered something.

Liang Chen's feet pounced the stairs, his haste evident in every step,A servant, caught in his whirlwind descent, stumbled backwards, her basket of laundry tilting precariously.

Liang Chen's hands shot it, steadying the basket, his fingers brushing against hers,"sorry",he muttered, his eyes already darting towards the door.

The servant's voice trailed after him,"young master, won't you have breakfast"

"No time!", Liang Chen's reply was curl, his footsteps devouring the distance
