The Shadow Thief
In the city of Gravif, Axel, a notorious thief, 'stumbles' upon a powerful artifact. Upon unlocking its abilities, the artifact corrupts his mana, causing it to plummet to -1. With this strange glitch, Axel becomes an unstoppable force. However, Axel, preferring to operate under the radar, opts to conceal his new abilities, not one for unwanted attention. Yet, luck proves to be against him as the city of Gravif and its lurking demons have alternative plans. --- I'll keep writing 'The Blood Magic User' and release one new chapter every day. PANIC ATTACK
Healing spells were the easiest to cast; even an eight-year-old could manage one after getting hurt while playing swords and shields. But Karma's healing felt different. It was unsettling, like that giant floating monster in the shadowy place. My bruises were healing, yes, but I almost preferred going home in my battered state. At least then, I'd feel normal.
I sighed, staring at the ceiling. Sometimes, since I got these weird powers, I thought about letting loose – just like with that messed-up Humanity Loss skill. Liora accused me of murder? Kill her and be done with it. Students branded me a pervert and spread weird gossip out of their asses? Kill them and be done with it. James came after me for no reason? Kill him and be done with it. If I were an unhinged murderer like James – oh how easy my life would've been…
"I can't believe Liora would do something like that," Karma said, still casting her healing spell. "Does it hurt?"
