Maria continued to flee, just wanting to get away from everyone. The heroes did what they could to keep her in their line of vision. They wanted to be able to get her somewhere safe so they could speak, from the heroes who believed her to those who were too upset with her. They all just wanted to be able to talk to her and figure out what to do.
The streets were empty as the group of heroes followed after the raven. Time slowed down and no one could recognize what was even going on due to determined mindsets wanting to stop the raven from getting farther away from them.
There wasn't much that the heroes could see following Maria to her home. They really didn't know what they were going to do; however, they were shocked when they saw their beloved friend and family member inside the house with boxes.
Dread filled their faces as they all looked between each other. The boxes weren't there before the concert. "Where did she get all of those boxes so soon?" Nathan spoke up
"Maybe she hid them somewhere… I mean… she does know how to do that," Ivan frowned as he spoke.
"Is she… planning on moving?" Kotetsu spoke up, his voice almost cracking.
Barnaby watched the scene, silent. He slowly walked into the house, revealing the raven running around like a chicken with its head cut off. Many boxes were being filled with her different things and the ringing of almost lonely songs were playing.
Maria didn't pay attention to anyone as she kept running around Tears were streaming down her face as she continued to run to pack things up. She spoke the same thing over and over to the point all the heroes heard it. "If they aren't welcoming me then I might as well leave… go back to Paris… never come back"
The heroes watched her, not sure how to even respond, especially since they knew she was going to be very jumpy. There was a long silence that felt like years until suddenly a voice spoke up. "Please don't leave"
Maria seemed to stop as she stood there. No one knew who said that. Everyone looked around until they stopped to follow the gaze of the raven. It was aimed directly at the man who made her not feel welcomed. Barnaby Brooks Jr.
"W-what…?"
"Please don't leave, Maria…"
"Why would you, of all people, be saying that?"
"Because I was in the wrong. If I kept my mouth shut, then you wouldn't be doing this…. So please."
"Why should I trust you?"
Nathan stepped from behind the blonde. "Because it's what everyone wants… please… don't leave here…"
Kotetsu frowned and spoke up "We don't want to lose you…"
