Captured

After the message was sent, Keith decided to fly around and search for the missing star. He felt bad for Nathan since he was the caretaker for the female. He sped around, slowing when he noticed a male carrying a female. He moved closer to see the female was wearing hospital robes.

Doing what he could, he followed the car. He gave a call to everyone. "I found a man carrying Maria. He is in a very obscure black car. He is going towards the abandoned buildings. I Will update if there is more and no one else shows up. Sky High!" he ended as he kept following them.

After about thirty minutes of following the car and flying around, he had the whole group of heroes there, excluding Ivan, "Fate", and Nathan. He hovered over the car and looked at the other heroes. "They stopped here just moments ago so we have plenty of time to help her. Now let us go! Sky High!" he flew towards the building.

Pao-Lin and Karina both went in together as well as Kotetsu and Barnaby. They all looked at different areas within the building in hopes to find Maria or at least stop her captor.

It took a while before they all stopped on the same floor. Barnaby was tapping at a wall when he suddenly kicked it and knocked it down. There was a path to a basement. The group looked at each other and nodded, descending the stairs. They were all quiet as if to listen to anything going on.

"You thought you could hide from us, didn't you, Maria? You have so many identities that it's hard to even figure out who the hell you are anymore. First, you were Twisted. You were good, but all of a sudden you come here and you're Fate!? Now explain to me why you decided to quit being that damn vigilante?"

Maria looked down with dull eyes, mostly from the pain. She was tied up in a cage, the man trying to get her to sing her story and truths. She really was a caged bird at this moment. "Yes. I am Twisted. I still am, but she's a spy. Not a vigilante! That's why Fate is a hero! She does what she can to save the people of Sternbild, unlike you who captures me!"

The confirmation of Maria being Twisted caused Barnaby to give Kotetsu a glare of 'I told you so' before he started towards the talking. It was clear there would be a fight, but also an arrest of a close friend of theirs.

The group looked at Barnaby then to Kotetsu as if to question what to do. They were heroes, but they didn't want to capture their friend and just throw her into jail. They reluctantly followed Barnaby, dreading each step they took. As they moved closer, more truths were spoken.

"Tell me, why did you kill that man?"

"I didn't mean to… If I didn't then…" she stopped talking, staring at the ground. She was breaking down, piece by piece.

The man smirked as he stepped closer only to be knocked out by a kick to the head by Barnaby. Kotetsu hurried to the man and grabbed him, arresting him. Barnaby walked to the captive female and opened the cage. He grabbed her and held her so she looked into his eyes. "You are under arrest as you are part of an investigation. You will come with us otherwise you will be thrown into jail for obstruction of justice. You have been warned."

With that, the large group of heroes left the building and headed towards the headquarters. The man was thrown into jail and Maria was put into their hospital to get checked out while being cuffed to the bed. There was no way in hell Barnaby would let her escape him if it was the last thing he'd do.
