Chapter 91: Destress with Me Part 1

Carter barely was able to get up in the morning. He was exhausted from the night before and his body ached from being tensed up and stressed. He leaned on the kitchen island with his hands wrapped around his cup of coffee. He groaned as he slowly brought his cup to his lips, taking a sip.

"Morning." Ariana smiled as she walked up to him in a tight red dress. It was form-fitting, and the hem ran right above her knees. It had a scoop neckline with a small 'v' cutout in the center of the neckline. Her collar looked amazing with the dress, and he stared at her with a blank expression.

"Morning." Carter cleared his throat and watched her sigh and reach up to run her thumbs beneath his eyes.

"I'm sorry I kept you up so late." Ariana rested her forehead against his as he leaned down with a groan. "You're so tired. You have rings under your eyes."

"It's not you." Carter tilted his head up to brush his lips against hers in a loving kiss. "It's the stress."
