Ariana gasped and stared down beside them, expecting to see something broken. All that was on the floor was some royal purple leather collar. It had a steel loop that was bolted to the leather with rivets. An O-ring freely spun through it and it had a metal buckle closure. She thought that it must have been one of Lucky's old collars. It took her a moment to realize that he hadn't moved and was staring at it for a moment with a worried expression. He chewed on his bottom lip and hoped that she didn't put two and two together. It took her a few moments to realize that she had never seen a dog collar exactly like that one.
