Chapter 122: Girl Stuff

"Hey!" Rosalyn waved as she let Lucky out from the backseat.

Lucky's collar chimed as she shook her head and ran towards Carter, leaping up onto him.

"Hey, down girl." Carter whistled and snapped his fingers while pointing down. Lucky got down and Carter laughed, scratching around her neck and behind her ears, as he crouched down to give her much needed attention. "Did you miss me, huh? Did you?"

"Hey man!" Cruz walked up, carrying Sir Ham Ham's cage.

"Hey!" Carter stood up and walked up to his old friend, fist bumping him. "How are you?"

"I should be the one asking you that." Cruz laughed and played with his blue baseball cap.

"I'm- I'm doing okay. Ari isn't, but she's trying." Carter stared over at Ariana hugging her best friend and putting on a smile for her.

"I saw online. Did she really cheat on you in Milan because dude that is not like her." Cruz shook his head with his hands on his hips.
