"Is this true, Mademoiselle Adams?" Mr. Caron peered over at Ariana with a raised eyebrow, breaking her from her thoughts.

Ariana jumped in her chair and cleared her throat, licking her lips. "Yes, yes it's true. I- I found a man in a club and we hit it off. I felt terrible afterwards. I'm lucky that Mr. Anderson let me stay on regardless of hurting him."
