They walked back to the hotel in silence and she focused on how his soft hand felt in hers. How his fingers caressed hers and made her feel safe. She sighed and leaned her head on his shoulder as they reached the hotel.
They took the elevator up to their floor and Carter opened the door for her. She stepped inside and threw her purse onto a chair. Carter shut the door and turned around to see her swiftly lift her dress up and over her head, leaving her in nothing.
His eyes grazed up the back of her slender legs, over her rounded behind, along her spine, and up to her neck as she slowly reached up to brush her hair to the side.
"Are you trying to tease me for more?" Carter stood with his hand in his pocket.
