Watch

Thane and I make our way back to the woods surrounding the Oasis before finding the perfect tree. We sit in the tree, watching everything around us in silence as the chilling rain continues to fall. After a few silent moments, I softly say "While you were checking the perimeter the other night, I ran into the old man. Or, at least I think I did."

Thane slowly turns to look at me and asks "What happened?" I sigh and say "I was getting a bad feeling, almost like I was being watched... When I felt someone behind me, I quickly turned around and nearly took the old man's head off." 

I lightly shake my head as I continue "He didn't even blink... He just kept staring out into the woods and says 'The world grows quiet when they walk the night'. When I asked him who 'they' was, he turns and points at me."
