Alex called Jack repeatedly but with no response, so he moved on to the next allie safina. But Alex contemplated a lot before finally accepting to tell her to his intentions, he expected jack's robots to sneak into Felix's room and get the sample of his blood to be examined. Now what will safina do all she has is a portal gun, how can that help me accomplish my mission. Alex thought. Then he realized that he could ask her to make Felix unconscious and then use her portal gun to transport Felix to his room then he could collect some of his blood and he could run some tests. But then he remembered that Safina told him , her portal gun wasn't fully ready to be used and her portals were unstable to the point it takes a miracle for her to get the other end of the portal to appear where she wants it to appear.
Alex decided that he could use his stabilizer ray to make the portal gun stable but the effects of the ray was only able to last up to 30 minutes tops , before the effects of the ray would wear off completely. So that means Safina would have to complete her part of the plan in 30 minutes.
Meanwhile, Felix just finished his homework and was about to go hang out with Bella and Owen who were waiting for him in the park. They planned to go to the outskirts of the city and try out Bella's new powers . So in the Aethereia family which was Bella's family, you are born with amazing powers and each of them are different but you don't get to use your power until you get to a certain age or until you need your powers desperately. Bella has reached the age requirements for her powers to be unlocked her powers were rare and her and her grandmother have had it . Her powers were the powers of sharing abilities, giving other people powers, portal elements and flight. The portal elements contain regular portals, teleportation and creating worm holes that once stuck in it can seal your fate forever.
Bella was a quick learner and would love to visit her grandmother. So to her, this was a piece of cake but in reality, she was just appearing and disappearing with no motivation whatsoever, she could scare someone to death with that thing. She got bored of that and started to fly although her flying wasn't the best but she was adapting, Felix also taught a few tips and tricks of flying . All this while Owen watched them like a movie that had a blinding light as the background. when they were through they came back down. Felix tried to give Bella a high five but she didn't respond, she had a flashback to when she was about five years old and she just finished helping her grandfather mow the lawn and as a reward her grandfather decided to give her a high five and the moment their hands touched her grandfather turned to a statue as he was turning into a statue he looked and saw Mr Friskier his life long nemesis with an evil smirk on his face and her grandfather accepted his fate and quickly pushed Bella away as far as he could and then he fully turned to a statue. Bella always blamed herself, for that reason she never touched anyone's hands.
