A mother's love

I passed out from the pain. I did not know where I was. I woke up and felt trouble breathing. When I opened my eyes, I saw Bethany sitting on my chest, strangling my neck with her bare hands. My left arm is already paralyzed. And my right arm is numb due to the wound on my right shoulder. I tried to stop her, but I could not move my arms. I am starting to feel that I am passing out.

I then woke up to a loud bang. I looked around and saw Alberta standing on my right. We were still in the barn. Bethany was sitting on the ground. She was sobbing. Alberta was not in a pleasant mood. She was fuming with anger. Alberta was pacing in the barn.

Alberta then leaned forward, took hold of Bethany's hand, and made her stand up. Bethany's gaze was lowered, and she was not directly looking at Alberta. Alberta sighed.

"Look at me."

Bethany did not respond. Alberta said in an angry voice.
