Ladislas' glare at Charles' didn't help change her mind either.
"You're not going to say that you lost Anna's body, right?" Ladislas said in a cold voice.
Charles had been frozen and facing away from them for the longest period of time. He knew Ladislas had arrived but he couldn't muster up the courage to turn and face the demon. He knew exactly what Ladislas was capable of. Even a soldier like him who put his life on the line on a daily basis was scared of a demon. It wasn't about just dying, but eternal damnation.
