Selene

I sighed inwardly as I entered Azriel's office. Some things never change, I thought to myself. He was leaning back in his chair, his expression as stoic as ever. He looked up at me as I approached his desk.

"Selene," he said in that same cool tone, "could you get me a cup of coffee?"

I resisted the urge to roll my eyes. Azriel was as infuriating as he was one year ago.

"You know, Azriel, the coffee machine is literally just a few steps away from your desk," I retorted, my irritation evident in my voice.

He raised an eyebrow, "Indulge me, will you?"

"Asshole." I muttered under my breath loud enough for him to hear that. 

With a resigned sigh, I returned to his office and placed the cup of coffee on his desk. He glanced at it briefly before looking back at me.

"Thank you, F-Selene," he said, his tone devoid of any real gratitude.
