"You must have been hurting so much," Yuna said as she hugged Elvin tightly. "I am so sorry! This is my fault!"

"How is it your fault?" Elvin said questioningly. "We both got captured, we both got forced to live here, and we both got attacked. The only difference is, you were strong enough to defend us and I was too weak. So I don't know why you think it's your fault!"

"None of that!" Yuna said. "The fact you felt the need to be experimented on, to be a test subject, just to gain more power to protect me. That is my fault. If only I had been there for you more, maybe you wouldn't have felt the need to do this to yourself."

"I did this because I wanted to," Elvin said, pulling herself out of Yuna's embrace. "I hate being weak! I hate being powerless! I hate that bastard who summoned me!"

Yuna's face changed to an expression of surprise.
