The Strongest Team

"Caulifla be my support!" Akuma yelled as Broly recovered and flew towards them at full speed. Akuma punched him in the jaw as he reached them and he spun out of the way as Broly tried to grab him before Caulifla threw two red energy balls at him. Both energy attacks hit Broly in the face and Akuma kicked him as hard as he could but the large Saiyan was unfazed by their attacks.

"Akuma!" Caulifla yelled as Broly slammed into him, causing him to crash hard enough to go underground and Broly quickly chased after him. Moments later she saw the explosions in various locations before streaks of blue and green shot out of the ground in a pillar of magma. They locked hands and she felt wind blow past her as they began to struggle for control. She was confused by Akuma's ability to better match Broly's strength until she noticed that his hair was a lighter shade of blue and she realized that Akuma had tapped into White again. Broly suddenly headbutted Akuma and he began to tilt back before delivering a fierce knee to Broly's chin. They both shook their heads as they let go of each other's hands and Broky grabbed Akuma by his face before flying towards the ground.

"No you don't!" Caulifla yelled as she planted both of her feet on Broly's face at full speed and the giant released his grip on Akuma's head in surprise but he seemed unhurt by the surprise attack, "What the hell is up with this guy?!"

"I don't know but he keeps getting stronger! Let's try the attack we practiced!" Akuma yelled as they both dodged Broly's energy attacks and the moment he stopped they went back to back as they charged up energy in their hands.

"STARDUST CANNON!" They both yelled in unison as the blue and red energy waves violently spun around each other like a drill and Broly was engulfed by the massive explosion that rocked the area. Their eyes widened when Broly flew out of the smoke before tackling them into a cliff and Akuma was able to launch Caulifla away with a burst of energy as Broly crashed into a cliff. Akuma put his arms up to defend against Broly's powerful punches as he was pushed further into the cliff from the force of the blows and he could feel his arms begin to break. Akuma was surprised when Broly was punched in the jaw hard enough for spit to fly out of his mouth by a blue energy covered fist and the energy immediately exploded afterwards, making Broly stumble back in shock.

"Well this is an interesting development." Whis said while he and Bulma watched Caulifla burst from the flames in Super Saiyan Blue and he got a sadistic smile when a white light appeared behind the berserk Saiyan. Akuma swept his leg under Broly's as Caulifla punched him in the face and caused him to fall backwards before they kicked his side and sent him flying along the ground. Broly landed on his feet and all three of them roared as they flew towards each other. They disappeared just before connecting and Whis looked up to see them trading blows high above the ground. The blows became so quick and fierce that the three of them were almost blurs and Bulma had to cover her face from the wind they were causing.

"How can they fight that guy when he overpowered Goku and Vegeta so easily?!" Bulma asked in disbelief as Akuma delivered a devastating elbow to Broly's chest before Caulifa spiraled and kicked him in the chin, "They're only a few years older than Trunks!"

"They're both prodigies when it comes to fighting and they have something that Goku and Vegeta severely lack despite my best efforts." Whis explained and Bulma gave him a questioning look, "They're teamwork is near perfect when those other two can't stop arguing long enough to truly work together. Even when Goku and Vegeta fought against Jiren they couldn't fully work together but these two can match Broly when they work together and they know it. They aren't communicating yet they know exactly what to do."

"He got them!" Bulma yelled when Broly grabbed them by their faces but they instantly planted their feet onto his face and forced him to let go. They slammed their heels on his shoulders and sent him crashing to the ground, sending debris flying in every direction. They landed next to Broly before he could recover and put their energy filled hands together as they pulled them back. Their auras flared up and caused a bright light as they combined before they fired a massive energy wave at Broly. Broly took a step back as he watched the duo's attack leave him no space to escape and he disappeared in the red and blue energy. Both of them returned to their base forms as they ran completely out of stamina and hit their knees while breathing heavily. Their eyes widened when Broly flew out of the smoke with his hair now bright green and Akuma knew there was nothing they could do to avoid what was about to happen until a man in a black vest flew in from behind them and kicked Broly in the chest hard enough to send him rocketing away. Without saying a word the man chased after Broly and Caulifla gave Akuma a strange look when he began to laugh as he sat down.

"So they decided to fuse like you and Kale did during the tournament huh?" Akuma said while watching Gogeta attack Broly with no remorse and he couldn't help but notice that all of Gogeta's moves seemed identical to his own.

"I guess there are more ways to fuse besides the Potara earrings." Caulifla said as Gogeta hit Broly with a shining sphere of energy that caused an explosion large enough to shake the entire area, "Did they really have to take an hour though?"

"Better late than never." Akuma told her as he fell on his back and he finally noticed how much pain he was in, "They're going to make it up to us that's for sure."
