2 Chapter 1: Afterlife

I, Aiden Anderson, am just a normal university student who just happen to be a hardcore anime fan who loves anime, manga and novels especially isekai and reincarnation genre animes and novels. And one day, i chance upon an opportunity that changed my boring life for better or worse....?

Yeah, i have died in the most cliche way a protagonist of a anime would die before isekaing to another world.

*Sigh* why did you have to guess it already, i thought i was the one to explain and do i don't have the right to tease you all a little and build up a suspense?

Back to the present, This place was something i never came across. It could only be called infinite darkness, i roamed around this place for god know how many years but i still couldn't figure out what place is this but i have a bold guess, that is that this place might be a domain of some gods but i haven't seen a single entity since i have arrived here.....

The arrival of a mysterious handsome old man?

Disturbed my thoughts. Why mysterious?

'Cause i can't even discern his features. He changed from old to young, handsome to ugly, slim to fat, tall to short.

He was like some sort of shapeshifter that would usually be in some movies but for the first time in my life, i saw such a mysterious creature who i can't discern what the heck he is?

"Sir, excuse me for asking a rude question." I took a deep breathe."what are you...??"

"Shouldn't there be a white ball of light or a loli goddess who will say that she have seen my whole life and has fallen in love with me and want to make me her husband and fulfill my every desire..???"

The mysterious handsome old man stayed silent for a minute before introducing himself, "My name is $%@#*!, oh sorry, i forgot mortals can't hear my name since they will die if they hear my name, so i will only tell you my nicknames which other gods call me, I am ZephyrosZephyros, i am the god of this multiverse."

"Does this mean there are other gods too??" I asked him which he nodded

"So, where am i..?" I asked the question i was most curious about.

"You are in the void, more specially my domain in which i reside, i don't know how you a punny human survived this long in my domain which is filled with god energy which can kill punny mortal like you." He said the last part mockingly and a little surprised that a mortal like me can survive this long being exposed to god energy.

'The fuck.' My eyes narrowed at him as I was a little angry about him calling me a punny mortal but what can i do beside he's also have the right since i really am a punny human in front of him.

"Ohh, and where am i going now, heaven or hell..??" I asked him since i was really curious about where i'm going.

"No, you aren't going to hell or heaven, you see, you have been exposed to gods energy and if you go to hell or heaven, it's possible that you may kill the creatures residing there since you have gods energy in your body and it seems gods energy is also accepting you."

"Then, where am i going? Don't tell me you are going to kill me because i have this god energy thing???" I said and i panicked and a horrified.

"No,no you are misunderstanding something, when did i say i'm killing you? If i wanted to kill you, you wouldn't be talking to me right now and would have turned to dust already." He said which calm me a little.

"Then, what will happen to me now?"

"I'm giving you two choice, either be my champion or DIE." he said the last part scarily

"Huh? That's only one choice, but what is champion and what do i get from being your champion?" I said feeling unfair

"A champion is like a representative of mine who will participate in the Champion's Tournament that is held every 5 trillion years and if you win, then i get the whole animeverse for myself and you as my champion get access to every animeverse and can go freely whenever you want."

I was truly interested in this deal but i was a little hesitant since life is not a game and if i was reincarnated into an anime world without cheats as a traverser then how can i enjoy without fearing anyone and growing safely for this champion's tournament thing.

"Bu—.!" I couldn't finish what i was saying when the god name Zephyros interrupt.

"I know what you're about to say, you want some help or rather cheats right?" Zephyros said what i was about to say and i nodded.

"I can give you some perks but i will only give you 3 and No, you can't ask to be powerful as me or any overpowered abilities and don't try to be a smartass." He said crushing my hope of wanting to be overpowered as him without any actual training.

"*sigh*, okay." I sighed heavily and thought what i should ask.....!
