The Rescue Mission

Diana didn't take much time to think, she jumped on Aaron and tried to clear the air around him. Then she carried him immediately into the hole while helping Tarou finding his way.

She dragged both of them as far as she can from the chamber.

Tarou regained his consciousness very fast, but Aaron didn't open his eyes.

Diana put her ear on his chest.

- His heart is beating slowly...Wait, it becomes faster! ... It is beating very fast, is that normal?

She raised her head, Aaron was already awake and his face was very red. She blushed, herself, and went away from him immediately.

- Aaron!! Are you okay? Your face is very red!

- I'm fine, Tarou, don't worry. Replied Aaron while covering his face.

Tarou helped him to stand up

- Can you walk on your own?

- I'm still a little dizzy, can we rest for a bit?

- Sure, I think we finished the hard part.

- I'm not sure about that. Replied Aaron while looking ahead

They rested for a while to regain their energy then they moved forward until they arrived at the big Golden door.

It was a gate more than a door.

A head of a dog was carved in the middle, with the presence of huge cylinders on the sides.

Aaron took out the key and put it inside the lock, fortunately it did match. He turned it, then he backed off waiting for the door to open, but nothing did happen.

Tarou sighed:

- Why I'm not surprised. Doors had never opened to us easily.

They felt frustrated, nothing went the way they expect.

- The key should open the door, why it didn't work? It is definitely for this lock.
