Chapter 51

When I opened the door of my room, the wind blowing through the window fanned my hair.  I quietly closed the door and peered into the room.  I was sure that the window was closed on my way out.

I felt scared when my heart started beating fast.  I quietly approached the window, but there was no sound or movement around.

As I closed the window, the breath I felt on my neck pierced my heart like a knife, and I opened my mouth to scream.  But my scream exploded in a palm and disappeared.

I wanted to look at the owner of the hand that covered my mouth, but I was frozen with fear.  Right now I expected a knife to be pressed to my throat or a gun to my forehead, but it didn't.

All that was there were lips whispering in my ear.  "Mine."

  HE IS.
