Chapter 45

***

The Kuzgun was standing in front of me with his long staffs placed under his two seats.  It had changed a lot since I last saw it.  Besides the inability to walk with the aid of a stick, his body no longer looked as imposing as before.

While I was surprised that Kuzgun was the one who sent me threatening messages for days, I was not surprised on the other hand.  I didn't want to open old notebooks.  I was trying to leave all my enemies and loved ones in that town and start a new life.  Kuzgun never had a place in this new life of mine.

Seeing him right in front of me didn't scare me anymore.  I wasn't excited or nauseous.  I was just angry.  If I had known that the person who sent those messages was Kuzgun, I would not have wasted my precious time and come here in my life.
